Single over head cam you retard! so it cant have vtec. it is an imitation of vtec. somthing to the effect of a twin profile camshaft. instead of Vtec which swaps between normal cam shaft and the more agressive camshaft. Real vtec.
p.s ive had a 1.4 EJ9 and to be honest id much prefer that over the pesent spec 1.5 EK3 anyday.
oh well cant complain i got a car that has real vtec now.

@teror1sta actually theyre both the same, being sohc the vtec only works on the intake valve. the vtec you're thinking of is on the 3 stage jdm vtecs. which is not the case. a d15b vtec is a d15 block with a d16z6 vtec head.
