I believe you have like 2 slots left after installing the basic things that come with the set! xd

There is a total of 12 in the back and you get 6 pieces + 1 HiHat + 3 Cymbals from the set itself.

Look I have this kit, previous ly i had yamaha dtxplorer, Roland td4 and I practiced with a couple of RolandTD9. I could not be happier with the Alesis. So sick and taried with the Roland religion of the mesh pads(like apple part 2). This kit it is just what it is an electronic kit, never an acoustic one. Hence, for the price and the things that you can do, it is more than ok.

Hi! Yes you can connect your MP3 Player or any other source to the module by using a simple cinch cable (AUX Input).

@DruumStixx yes it is, the pad are too loud, its not responsive. Now i'm going for a roland. The sound in the dm10 aren't realistic, it really is a crappy drum

@UntamedMagnet i don't really care for realism because i own a Tama superstar classic but i just want a set that i can use without making as much noise and im not dolling out alot of money just for roland electric kit this kit is fine for what it offers you can also change the heads on the drums wich is easy to do and still wouldn't be ask pricey as the roland

Ich weis nur nicht wie ich das machen soll, ich habe jetzt dieses Programm Audacity, kriege es aber nicht hin, das auf dem Schlagzeug gespielte auf dieses Programm Aufzunehmen. Ich habe ein USB Kabel angeschlossen vom "Mischpult" bis zu meinem Computer.

Es ist nett wenn sie mir helfen könnten..

What have you for a program on your computer so you can record the songs of your drums (DM10) on the computer? I have the same drums and my songs will only make the required program is missing for me .. :(

Yes, I am an european Alesis Artist from Germany. (danielschlep.de)

There are several opportunities to record your Alesis Drums. You can use comercial programs like Ableton, Cubase or Logic, as well as free to use softwares like Reaper or Audacity. If you want to get a great quality you need to get a so called "interface" for your recording. Alesis also offers some interfaces (Recording Software included).

Hi! A bit more expensive but worth every penny: The all new ALESIS DM8 USB Kit.

In my opinion from an artist´s point of view the best electronic drum solution at this price range.

I've been drumming for 4 years now and i've had this kit for about 2,i would recommend it 2 everyone,although on my kit it won't let me store things so everytime i turn it on its on the factory settings

practicing or band situation, studio recording??.

if you going to practice i would get a electronic drum kits, they're fun to use plus they don't annoy next door or parents animals ect. . plus you can drum along to your favorite bands and you can also use them with rock band .

now if you going to play in a band a acoustic drum kits for you.

studio recording depends on what sound you want what type of music you want to produce
