  • You guys sound like teenagers living in your mom's basement.

  • Whats the point in buying one, when building one is simpler. The only good thing about this one, is that it has mac support build in.

  • i like ours

  • @appleeimac HAHA ^^

  • can i host a minecraft server on it?

  • @RICHtech101 nope, minecraft runs in ''java'' and ram and good cpu is the minimum for a server, this is more like a ''nas'' shitty cpu, shitty ram, amazing network card and lots of hard drive with a raid controller :P

    Greetings

    Max

  • 10 PRINT "Basically."

    20 GOTO 10

    RUN

  • @alasrati while(1) printf("Basically");

    :)

  • i can't watch this with all the fucking interlacing, get a real camera

  • how many times is this guy gonna say basically?

  • how many times can this putz say "basically" in 6 minutes?

  • build your own ser twice as good same price, thats what I did.

  • basically or bathically?

  • basically ;)

  • I have one of these. Got 8tb in it though. Awesome for my storage.

  • how much?

  • would I be able to set this up with linux operating systems???

  • @ItzMeSurprise19 Yes you could, but why would you want to, unless all your machines are running Linux

  • Everything is "basically" LOL!

  • @section23promotions

It isn't noisy at all. You can hear it if you're close, but considering its size and what it does, it's very quiet.

    @basmagic

Max storage is limited only by the largest hard drive available * 4 (number of bays it has). So, right now, 2 TB is the standard limit for consumer SATA drives. As a result, the max storage (at this time) is 8 TB. As hard drive space gets larger, though, its potential max capacity grows.

  • max storage?

  • 9 tb

  • Is it noisy?

  • how well does this work for hosting your own games over xbox live?

  • Are you retarded??

  • the old question: Mac or PC?

And then HP made a home server that could...well, serve...to both.

So, now, it's Mac AND PC via way of proxy from the home server!

  • Great video. Question, can I set-up 'duplication' and the 'backup all data to a hard drive to store' on the Mac, or do I need to do these settings on a Windows PC only? Plus what format should I have the drives to work on both platforms?

  • can i host a website on it?

  • yes

  • @JVCONSOLE Yes, you can... You could aslo beable to host MMORPGs

  • Can This Pc Server Use Aplications Like DB's And Programs Or DOS And Cmd's Directly Or Remotly. Just Answer Me Can This Pc Run Programs

  • yea, he said u can use remote desktop. it's basicly a dedicated server at home.

  • yes it can run all windows apps

  • i know its kinda no big thing

    but 1 tb is 1024g not 1000

    so 750 plus 750 would be 1500

    1.5tb is 1536

i know who care's i just have to much time and no 50d

  • So everything is "basically". This guy said "basically" about 16 times. LOL!

  • lol your right he did

  • can you host a web site???

  • yes

  • I get it
