A prophet must have "Christian" character? Ok then, you are saying only Christians can now prophesy? Interesting...Only one God? Jews, Muslims, Christians and many others believe there is but one all powerful creator of all things seen and unseen but give him/her/it different names and claim theirs is best and all others are infidels, sinners, evil...If those of the one god concept can't agree on which one is God then how can I or anyone else believe anything any of you say?

I would just like to add to your presentation: Dreams and visions. Numbers 12:6. IN scripture, genuine prophets received prophetic dreams and visions. During her 70 yr ministry from 1844-1915, EGW received approximately 2000 visions and prophetic dreams.

The Catholics confess Christ came in the flesh and even the pope for that matter so they cannot be disqualified using 1 Jn. 4:3. You quoted Is. 8:20 which disqualifies most of mainstream Christianity as they reject the law saying it is "done away with". I have yet to here a mainstream Christian preacher teaching and/or preaching the Law of God. Any suggestions?

You simply don't know you're history friend. Read up on how the Quran came about. The Bible is nearly 1/3 prophecy & prophetic timelines that predicted the first coming of Jesus and reach to modern day and explain the dark ages. The Quran has eliminated nearly all of these important timelines. We would expect SOME archaeological and scientifc support for the Quran since it is a modified version of the Torah/Old Testament.

Prophet Mohammad foretold of a time when dealing in Riba (interest) will be so common that it touches everyday life (Credit cards). He also told us of a time the will mark the nearing of Judgment day in which Shepards would compete in building tall buildings (}The Persian Gulf and Dubai in particular)" ..So if it's prophecies you want, we have our own set of them, and they are all fulfilled. But then again, prophecies mean nothing if they can be interpreted to fit anything.

Please provide us with the prophetic TIMELINES that tie all the prophecies in the Quran together. And please provide the sciprtural references in the Qurant that explain the Qurans prophetic symbols so that people cannot interpret the symbols anyway they see fit. You see, THIS IS how the Bible explains itself. Problem is most Christians do not allow the bible to explain it's own prophecies and slam their own interpretation into it. God's Word explains itself prophectically. Quran does not.

You're point is irrelevant frankly, because I completely understand what you mean, but the confusion is coming from those who DO NOT SERIOULSY study their Bible. For hundreds of years, protestants use to beleive the mark of the beast pointed to the Papacy. Papal priests did as well. The reformation era via Jesuit infiltration set out to cause confusion and elimanate the prophecies that pointed to the papacy. It is quite clear.

I know I'm going to be bashed to an inch of my life for saying this (verbally that is). But , its weird how Christians believe all these criteria for distinguishing between true and false prophets, and yet do not believe Mohammad (PBUH) is a prophet. although he fits all these to a T. Mohammad & "team" rewrote the entire Old & New Testament (Quran) there by giving his own interpretation over thousands of years of revelation going against point #3. Even the events recorded in Genesis do not add up to what is revealed in the Jewish Torah & Christian Old Testament. That is a huge negative for most people who understand the historical/archaeologolical evidences in favor of the Christian Bible versus the Quran.

1- There are many archeological evidences supporting the Quran 2- There are many scientific facts in the Quran. The prophet didn't rewrite anything, if some of the same stories are there, that is because the same God told him about them, but there are also things you didn't know about, and he fixed many of the things you have misconceptions about.

Sorry friend, you simply don't know your history. Muhammed along with his scribes did in fact REWROTE the bible excluding much of the New Testament and modifying the Old Testament.

Besides, Christians keep speaking of Archeological evidence, as if Archeology can ever be conclusive? I mean that even Goes for the Quran, Archeology finds some remains of something that resembles something mentioned in the bible, and Christians JUMP at the chance to take it as irrefutable evidence. If you want irrefutable evidence, go answer all the atheists challenging the scientific mistakes in the bible.

Archeology is NOT conclusive but substantiates much of what is written. The BEST evidence of the Protestant Bible's inspiration of God are the specific timeline prophecies which are completely missing from the Quran. For the Christian, are faith is based on CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence coming from MANY disciplines of life much as one would prove their case in court. And I speak with atheists daily about "so-called" scientific mistakes in the Bible. There are none. Just atheists misinterpretations.

Thanks bro for this break down of the Biblical criteria concerning prophets of Yah. Much needed these days on YT. The measuring rod of Yah. Makes me think of the calling of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel. Isaiah said I am unclean of lips (Is. 6:5); Jeremiah thought he was too young to speak as a prophet; Jer. 1:6 and Ezekiel was given a book to eat for he was fearful of the Hebrew Israelites Ezek. 2:1-10; 3:1-3.

Anything I have gotten from the Lord Jesus Christ Whom Is My Brother, My Best Friend has came to pass. I am Not Perfect Period and If We Are Honest None Of Us Are Christian or Otherwise. I agree that Many will not enter Heaven, we indeed Must Enter Thru. The Narrow Gate Which Is Not The Easy Way. I do Not Profess to be a "Prophet" or a "Saint" that is for God to judge, I just know He Has Always Given Me visions and "knowings" prior to.

True criteria. The path of the prophetic is a lonely one. It is not a platform for fame. It is often solitary. It causes one to humbly and obediently seek God's will in ALL things that they will not misspeak for God. It is a humbling experience and one in which those that have it first try to run from not towards.

God has laws that are given for our benefit. When we break the laws we clearly understand given by Him, their are natural consequences. God says don't be a glutton. If we do, we become obese and reap what we sow, disease, etc. Faith and works go together (not for salvation though) but for sanctification. God calls us to be obedient to ALL He commands.

You're being way to vague here friend. What law(s) are you referring to? The entire universe has laws in it that govern it set forth by God. Man, both Jew and Gentile alike have been discovering them for centuries. When we obey the "laws" we know to be good, positive things happen, when we don't, negative things can and do happen.

Cause and Effect. God gives you a brain to think things through. Do you think God is going to heal your body if you keep slamming alcohol into it? No of course not. God says a man will reap what he sows. But if you give it up, then God's blessings flow. You step out on FAITH and obey God's word, then He works the miracles you cannot for yourself. It still requires obedience to His Word.

Jesus and the disciples healed those who knew not God in an attempt to CONVINCE them of who He was (only when they came to Him in faith) that they may obey Him in LOVE for saving them. After this, Jesus clearly says "sin no more" or a worse thing may happen to you. Now they know better, so obey.

Plus what Jesus and the disciples did then on a small scale, is what Jesus will do for ALL the saints on judgement day at His second Coming. It was a "type" and it's antui-type is the Second Coming.

God's method of healing is clearly laid out in the Bible, both physically, mentally and spiritually.

Bible says EVERY MAN has SOME light in them knowing to do right from wrong and so understand SOME aspect of God's laws. Why else do you think it is almost universally accepted that murder is just wrong. Because God places His laws in the hearts of all men. Its just a matter of do we "listen".
