So what? It doesn't matter who or what, it could be St Dustbin Liner. It's about being English and being proud of it. St Patrick was English, St David a priest, St Andrew a haggis. Go and play with your history books and get off your pompous arse.
I don't quite understand that post mate. If in support for this vid or the idea of this vid then it is a badly chosen quote from a film that is very anti-English and in a speech against the English.
The point of the post is very true - our enemies being our government and all those that would wish to destroy or warp our culture and beliefs.
For god sake, who cares if St George was a scum bag? He is the patron saint of our country. Why do we English have such an erg to destroy our own culture? Why do we insist on ignoring all the great things we have brought to this world and why do we try to destroy hundreds of years of our own tradition? Don't be ashamed of our heritage. Celebrate it, love it, protect it. People are ashamed to say that they are English these days, don't be, revel in our culture and celebrate your patriotism!
The culture can be celebrated DAILY without bringing fame to the infamous, draconian imperialists. False Patriotism and egomaniacal Pride has begotten a government of wolves and false flag attacks. How many must die for your blindness while you wave your flag of deceit? ALWAYS question authority.
Seeing that you are American I can see why you posted that comment. I think this is just a misunderstanding about what I mean by patriotism. Patriotism isn't about flag waving for the government on election campaigns. In England it's about the people, culture and tradition. The rich elitist upper classes are the last people I would want to uphold. I don't wave my flag for the rich, I wave it for the working people and the every day heroes.
'We' as in our generation has done nothing for the world. Any so-called 'achievments' by England have been accomplished by people who just so happen to be born here; it's got NOTHING to do with me or you.
Well there were knights from England and some knights from Wales (read up on Gerald of Wales for a bit of the background on the Welsh side of things). There were probably more than a handful of Scottish knights in the crusades too as it was the done thing in those days. Even if it was only English and Welsh Knights both countries are on the island of Britain, hence 'British'.
But they didn't see them selves as 'British',they saw then selves as Scottish or English and back then Wales wasn't even a 'counrty', it was a Principality.
The term 'British' for the whole of these islands wasn't used until The Act of Union in 1707.
Unless for some reason the island of Britain suddenly came into being in 1707 though the use of lots of concrete or a huge geological event and Scotland, Wales and England were previously unconnected to each other by land it is perfectly correct to refer to the people living in those areas/ countries (call them what you wish) as British whether they used the term themselves or not. It is a geographic term not a political one.
Thanks for busting this myth of St George being such a great hero of England, I'm fed up of explaining to people what a con it is. Good luck in your future expeditions.
The greatest ally and enemy of England has and always will be the strength of mind and free speech of its own people. There may be truth in what you say, but England must celebrate its day!

And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be
willing to trade all the days from this day to that, for one
change to come back here as young men, and tell our enemies that
they make take our lives, but they will never take our freedom
