  • Great scene from a darkly sharp film. One of a lot of reasons why the 80's were special. Kind of sad to see JD blow himself to bits at the end. The music in this scene, adds to the finality of it. Had an old copy of this on VHS...I might get the DVD soon.

  • No dark comedy will ever top Heathers.

  • @tfrisbee3 I really like Heathers. :) You should check out an an Australian film called Bad Boy Bubby. Best dark comedy ever. The beginning is disturbing, but it's worth it.

  • @FunkyFresh48 Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely check it out!

  • @tfrisbee3 to be honest the comedy is much darker depending on context and the time it was made or shown. Imagine showing heathers 1 week after the columbine incident at the columbine school itself, imagine showing a film mocking war in front of war vets or even laughing about nuclear war just after nuking a country.

  • Slater's clean.

  • @Shreddette lol

  • Replacements references.

  • You couldn't do a movie like this today only in the 80s. Love this movie.
