After a few seconds of watching these people who have skill, the routine came across as cloggers who want to be tap/jazz dancers. This detracted from the clogging.  If you want to clog, do clog steps in traditional costumes; if you want to do jazz, do those routines in those costumes. Other people are entitled to other opinions.
