  • High end speed of farest galaxies? Looking to the edge of universe?

There are still unsolved problems with the expansion of space.

This video will change your point of view. Please look at this:

    Optical Deceptions in the Universe

…and then, let’s start astronomic science from the beginning …

    Martin

  • @Martin100357 Start astronomic science with pseudoscience? ROFLOLOLOL...

  • humans to put it bluntly just don't like other humans, we're sick of each others presence lol. we've been trying to invite other possible aliens to our planet, we would rather skip the space travel device and just share/steal tech from other aliens. i mean who the fuck would want to be a monkey?? oooh ooh ahh ahh stupid monkey thinks he knows what the fucks up lol pshh yeah right.

  • Glory to God! The Creator of everything! He who doesn't believe in God is just a fool who doesn't care for his own soul!

  • God is the mind... There you have it solved a thousand year mystery... My god has proof of existing and there were others who knew it before me... If you take away the mystery of religion it somehow seems like a healthcare center for drugaddicts...

Hey i didnt say that you had to read it or to start acting up... calm down... now listen - hey calm... calm down are you... let me... ok i am sorry... i said i am sorry... *sarcasm* yeah, clearly i lied... yeah you too... MPD is awesome

  • Universe beyond comprhension

  • nibiru, crazy star uk feb 4 , 2010

  • This clearly shows the greatness of the Creator of the Universe. And also shows that Islam is the true religion that God has chosen for all humanity.

  • @futureeagles Who created God

  • @ojideagu He existed before time and is outside of time so God was not "created."

  • @themotionaddict2 That is not an answer. It's proven the Universe began before time and does not need a creator. If God does not need a creator why does the Universe?

  • @ojideagu Provide me the sources that say the universe began before time.

  • @futureeagles spoken like a true terrorist.

  • @futureeagles ALL religions are stupid. They do nothing good for us. They start wars, and separate people, and they're just crap. I hate religion. How exactly does this represent Islam at all? How does this even represent religion, or God?

  • silence at last

  • Sarastarlight, thx 4 the journey, so good it doesn't need any music!

  • Is that the sun in the middle of the galaxy? Its too big to be the sun

  • no it's not the sun. That's a black hole.

  • look my jouney: earth solar system milky way 5 galaxys 20 galaxys 500 galaxys 20000 galaxys 500000 galaxys 80001000 galaxys and then mose kid of a Galaxy heart after the heart 9000000000 galaxys and all those galaxys form a a big ball of smokes
  • and there more there then we could yet ever imagine.

  • Say How do you know ???

    Please tell me . . .

  • because thats what we are the infinite possibility and i i think the secret to opening up to it is to face fear right on. our spirit and soul will go beyond its the law of eternity fear is just pity on self.

  • Yeah, Jesus is pretty amazing.

  • grow up man... jesus? some made up zombie from a mainstream religion, come on. seriously, you have a lot of reading and thinking to do.

  • god is just a fukin invented story now shut the fuck up about him he doesnt exist and neither does jesus. poeple just beleive they do because they are a bunch of pussys.!

  • Jesus is a real person actually, I just don't believe he was the "son of God"

  • evidence plz

  • *oxygen.

  • Beautifull creation : ) that will get the angry rock monkeys going lol

  • that makes me not-human! Nice! What am I then, mr. smartyguts?

    you little jewish hitler you!

seems like history tought you a lesson there, ey sheepboy?

feel encouraged to shoot your wisdom, I´m all yours.

    Tebe jebo bog u usta

  • hhhaaayyyllleeeyyy

  • Says the guy who belives in god

  • stfu athiest......You are all failures......

  • lol, too bad over half the things you use every single day, things you take for granted or even things you find a necessity are made by Atheists, dip shit.

  • Guess what!, More than half of all scientific discoveries were made by Christians!

Ever heard of the Big Bang? Well it was proposed by the Chistians that supports creationism.

  • Even if the Big Bang theory was proposed by a Roman Catholic priest, it still doesn't change the fact that today, most of the people working to really find what's out there are Atheist Scientists who don't have barriers that hold them back, while most Jesus freaks are too stupid to think outside of "It's god's will - he created everything and that's it"

  • Openly atheist scientists: Julius Axelrod (Nobel Prize) William Bateson (Genetics) Patrick Blackett OM, CH, FRS (Nobel Prize) Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar (Nobel) William Kingdon Clifford FRS (Geometric Algebra) Francis Crick (Nobel, co-discovered DNA) Richard Dawkins (Memes) Paul Dirac (Nobel for quantum mechanics research) Richard Feynman (Nobel, quantum mech.) Sigmund Freud (obvious) ... Again, those men are openly atheist. There are also many who are agnostic like Albert Einstein.
  • If you want more just go here:

    en.wikipedia[dot]org/wiki/Religiosity_and_intelligence

"Religious Believers as a group were found to be significantly less intelligent and more authoritarian than religious Skeptics." (Norman Poythress, 1975)

"In the US, according to raw data from the 2004 General Social Survey, those with graduate degrees were the least likely to believe in the afterlife or the Bible as the word of God, suggesting a link between religious belief and lower educational attainment."

  • epic bull

  • You know, I was going to type out something long, but decided not to since it's a waste of time.

Your post that all Atheists are failures, are obviously not true. As an Atheist, I would rather find things out for myself rather than pray and believe in something or even think that I was created to serve a purpose on Earth. If there is a god, then I guess my purpose on Earth is to sit on my ass, play video games, watch Youtube videos and shit. Doesn't sound much like a divine creation, imo.

  • And for you to be replying to these same exact comments I'm making makes you no less more of a failure than I am.You put way too much faith into a supposed fairy zombie in the sky that grants wishes as long as you pray to him. If god was really real, he'd have set me on his way, but since I've chosen to be a 'failure', and never followed a "divinely created path of life," that's already enough proof for me to know he doesn't exist. The bible, aka toilet paper is bullshit, god is bullshit. The end.

  • That´s very true

  • ha ha your 15. This proves that you still have a lot to learn. There are a lot less Christians than you think.

  • and you also.

But it doesn't matter what age. You have no way of determining my expertiese.

There ARE 15 year old prodegys you know.

  • 1. theorys are not lies but un-proven ideas

2.the theory u speak about is the (i dont know what it's called in english) a theory made by Einstein.

it have been proven last year by NASA the thory says the the more gravety something haves the more it will bend the time, light and evrything that comes close enougth.

so the farer u get away from gravety the faster the time will go. so u dont really travel through time but just faster than it.

-im only 13 years old. but i know what i say =)

  • i went to Venus yesterday listening to this music.... after i spun around the Cosmos i noticed something strange, a strange wierdness i've never since felt in my life, the planet called nuturoyinaltoinshun, i stopped there for a bit, i met a bieng by the name of yoorioution, he was wierd, i'll never forget the many adventures we had together, it was... welll.,,,, marvalous. i love you.

  • Whatever you're smokin, hook it up

  • my intergalactical space travels have been the surrounding cosmotic lifestyle i have since only channeled through which i have begun to put my soft hand through, it's,....it's..... well......wierd.

  • I agree somewhat about it being fantasy. See, if one were to reach the speed of light they would undoubtedly be warped into nothingness by being stripped of all the five dimensions of this existance, those being Height, Length, Breadth, Space and Time. You would quite literally be matterless, because matter cannot exist without space and time and you cannot exist without matter. Therefore to reach the speed of light would be to eliminate all that you have been and will be. Thats just my "theory"

  • Awesome.

  • a theory isnt a lie, a theory is a theory

  • Theories are not lies. A single theory is one representation of the numerous possibilities of any given circumstance. It is not always the truth but its almost never a lie. See, for something to be defined as a lie it would have to deliberately contradict the knowledge of the person who is delivering the theory. So, since most events have numerous possibilities, numerous theories arise from it. These theories arent lies, but they can be wrong. Being wrong and lying are not the same. Get it???

  • Here is how the Universe should be explained.

    1. There are Trillions of Galaxies in the Universe.

    2. Galaxies are found in clusters in the Universe.

    3. The Center is 100 Million Light years in Diameter.

    4. Stars (suns) in each galaxy falls into the Center.

  • @heartlessvietboy What are you talking about? Your fantasy?

    1. There are about 100 billion galaxies in the universe as far as we know.

    2. Yep..

    3. What center? Where? How do you know something that we don't know? There is no center to the expansion...

    4. No they don't. Simply for the same reason why planets in our solar system don't fall into the sun.

On top of that.. that's hardly an explanation of the universe.

Here's a better explanation of the universe: Unbelievably unbelievable!

  • Its this simple. Large rocks (planets, asteroids etc) that take up space in space creates "fall". We have to stop teaching fake crap.

  • @heartlessvietboy Cheese is good. And I like turtles.

  • @AxiomaticObserver A theory is not that simple. A scientific theory explains a fact or phenomenon, based on rigorous experiment and observation, falsifiability and by testing and overthrowing hypotheses. And more.. I can't go into detail with the scientific method on youtube! :P

So in a sense, it's even stronger than a fact. It's just not simply a "guess", and definitely not a lie. Theories change in accordance with new facts and evidence, because that's part of science, it's never "absolute".

  • woah... 2:37 looks kinda like a snake!

  • Aha - what YOU are completely missing in your post though is the effect of time dilation as you approach the speed of light. The "year" of a "light year" is measured in years RELATIVE to the Earth. So from our point of reference, yes, light takes 100,000 years to traverse the diameter of the Milky Way Galaxy - but from the point of reference of someone travelling alongside one of those photons of light, it hasn't taken NEARLY as long (didn't do the math, from memory it works out to a few days)

  • Is there a supernatural God?..or is the energy behind life and behind our universe a natural creative energy...I believe the evolutionary process of natural selection are also guided by a natural energy of our cosmos....how about mathematical proof? Search videos by superwhuffo1

  • You stupid religious nutjobs defecate all over the beauty of the cosmos with your stupid anthropocentrism and fuzzy thinking.

  • Thanks for sharing

  • awesome!

  • we will colonize mars very soon ...

  • i just really wish in a couple of hundreds of years we will have the technology to travel waaaaaaaay faster than the speed of light so we can discover life!

  • if we wanted to see how our galaxy looked like, it would take us 100,000 light years. So if we create a machine that travels 100,000 times faster than the speed of light, it would still take us 1 whole year to get there. And since we won't have enough food supply for 1 year because we spent all the money in the world trying to build a machine so fast,

  • actually, if you were to travel at the speed of light space would be so small and time would go so quickly (relative to us here on earth) that you could travel anywhere in the universe instantly. it has been suggested that to get to any point in the universe would take 2 years if you were to accelerate and decelerate at a comfortable 1g (same force the earth puts on us). 1 year of acceleration up to almost the speed of light and 1 year deceleration back to a stand still..... in theory anyway.

  • BUAHAHA!! have you ever heard "lightyears" ? its a meaning of lenght between objects in space. why not to count in metres or km you ask? because it takes literally millions of lightyears (millions of years that one would have to travel with a speed of light) to get from one point to another. thus, your post is one big mistake!! a laser travels with speed of light (it is light) but we are unable to proble entire univers b/c its bigger than millions of years travelled @ lightspeed

  • hey joe, maybe you should do some research into this sort of thing before you start mouthing off. like sandydevlin said time is RELATIVE and so is space. to travel at light speed is theoretically impossible but to travel at speeds NEAR the speed of light IS possible. if you were to accelerate at 1g for 1 year you would approach the speed of light making space so small and time so fast - RELATIVE TO US HERE ON EARTH - that you could be anywhere in the universe almost instantly.

  • actually, time SLOWS DOWN the faster you travel, relative to someone who is stationary. sorry. so for the person taking the journey it would be 1 year acceleration and 1 year deceleration but for people on earth billions and billions of years would have passed.

  • its impossible to get near speed of light i mean it think bout it wen u blink it isnt dark for a second its instanttly light again wen u open ur eyes we couldnt get nearlly that fast

  • we already know the ways to travel at the speed of light how do you think we got here light+plant+magic earth=us?the teaching of sun is within us we just gotta trying to remember why weve blocked it out?

  • oh no i no its a reply to someone who said it was all by god

  • instead of trying to travel the speed of light we should try to travel faster than light because light is still too slow. anything's possible

  • I think any speeds faster than light will change into energy, and therefore you won't be able to exceed light-speed.

  • Psalm 137: 8-9

O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

    Numbers 31:17-18

17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

    God IS amazing.

You people keep picking and choosing.:)

  • The universe is larger than we humans will ever be able to comprehend... Perhaps it is so large because it is Heaven? God is amazing!

    Isaiah 45:12

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

    Isaiah 44:24

    Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

  • poor thing

  • People used to think the world was flat. People used to think earth was the center of the universe. Imagine what we will know 3oo yrs. from now. SCARY isn't it.

  • Oh if its scary then it must be god then!!!

    Isaiah 45:12

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

WRITTEN BY PEOPLE WHO KNEW NOTHING!

    Isaiah 44:24

    Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

DOES THAT REALLY MAKE ANY SENSE TO PEOPLE??

    SAD!

  • it makes about as much sense as santa or the easter bunny.

  • and ignorance is bliss, thx for proving it...

  • If you use ur brain...

  • Yes i have seen ideas like this before and they offer a solution to the question "where did life come from on this planet". Have meteorites been tested for life? I believe yes. And have they found any evidence of life? I believe no! Shame! But it doesnt answer the question where did life originate?? Thanks for the info. M

  • Is anyone that has commented here human beings or are you from another demented demention? Just wanted to know I'm a "grey" and it sounds like I actually DIDN'T find a planet with any intelligent life. Thanks kindly.

  • it's big...space, isn't it!

  • Allahu Akbar.

    God made everything.

    Beautiful

  • yeah right stupid fucking christians explain why you killed so many astronomers and other scientist for blasphemy and destroyed their research delaying the evolution of sience

  • idk

  • dont b an idiot.there r too many former bitter christians who found a 'cool' vein of thought and started listening to tool or somethin and now they think they've free reign over all the other idiot sheep.newsflash...YOU"RE MORE OF AN IDIOT THAN THE DOGMATIC SHORTSIGHTED IDIOTS!by virtue of your need to proclaim ur beliefs to others.leave the christians alone even if they tell u god will deal with u.you DONT know shit just as they DONT.havanice day take care

  • Modern science was founded by religious individuals, and the scientific movement was led by Christians. You may not believe because you have a problem with doing good or self sacrifice, but don't bash something people MUCH smarter than yourselves have humbled themselves before.

  • Religion was created by man.

One practices religion to honor/praise their God, so they will be accepted by that God.

By a sort of transitive property, all religious people are doing is worshiping man, the church.

People should wake up. Stop using God as your sad excuse of an escape from reality.

If you want escape, do something more productive with your life than wasting it based around something that doesn't even exist.

And don't anyone dare quote the bible in replying to this.

    Pet peeve.

  • nigga, im on ur side!

  • not my religion friend!!! go and find if you care about orthodox

  • i guess you wake up and see that your soul is ouot of material only one God could create that! and this God He came and He talk to us

  • If you're Buddhist, don't call that a religion. That's more of..a way of life.

And how do you know this?

Did you hear it in a fairytale?

Please don't tell me you're that gullible. To believe everything you're taught is madness.

You have a brain, use it.

  • how cross those your mind!!!! unbelievable. i am orthodox christian

  • We're relatively so small, and yet each human brain seems to be more complex than the whole of our galaxy... I'm amazed... and yet the universe is not amazed... but then again, I suppose we are the universe... so through us, the universe is amazed... by itself.

  • Here! Here!

  • c'mon.. if a god did create this whole universe it cant have a certain gender..

cuz c'mon, think about it.. trillions of billions of galaxies and stuff.. and God is going to have a human shape..?? pfft, yea right.. thats like saying all life forms in the universe look just like us..

  • "God"?

Who the hell actually believe in those fairytales anymore anyway? I suppose some people DO mature...

  • "God he/she," God's name is Man. Christ is Son of Man, and we are Mankind. I don't think God is a she.

-Information found in the Dead Sea Scrolls

  • lol how od u place a gender on God..

    thats pure deception

  • you never no if there is god he/she self may have come from the universe, and over the trillions over years god has lived he's learned everything there is too about the unvirse and other demensions she/he's created life all over the univers and is waiting to see which one of these creature will be the first to gain equal power as he has and in turn take the ease of his hands and our selfs plaint life using the power of science and knowlege

  • All and nothing - changing everytime and everywhere. And where are we? Who are we? For what are we searching in our life?

  • :) I was told I was adopted by aliens but I don't believe it :) he he good video . Karen

  • I'm an alien and I approve of this video.

  • teta

  • dont be so ignorant :D

  • how am I being ignorant becuase all I said was belive in what you wanna belive? Your the ignorant one here.

  • I was teasing the person, no worries. I do not have any reason to assign ignorance to the comment above.

  • I am an alien I came from Andromeda galaxy, I like your planet and I was going to stay but once I saw you were deluded with fantasy stories called religion I decided to go back, after all I am too advanced specie to stay here with bunch of morons.

  • Lol, no ur just a faggot.

  • you could explain your point without saying such stupid things!

  • I am an Alien too...eep! ahk! ork!AH ~ah..! (That's a song from the JETSONS) But there is something about these humans..Some are really adorable! But hey, If you are going back to Andromeda..can I hitch a ride with you? I made a wish on a star and it didn't come true. I would like to go kick that star into the next galaxy..;-P...

  • this is great im doing school project on galaxies :)

  • The alien, usturaNiyazi, from Andromeda, who posted above, may be able to give you some tips on his galaxy.

  • The alien, usturaNiyazi, from Andromeda, who posted above, may be able to give you some tips on his galaxy.

  • our universe is amazing on it's own. it needs no music

  • yes it does :P

  • not for me :)

  • It adds to the overall experience.

  • Is it a black hole at centers of galaxies that causes galaxy stars to spiral about[with it's immense gravity??]

  • The theory says, that there's a giant black hole in EVERY center of each galaxy. It's not known why and not known, how this black whole came into existance, but they guess, that the mass of the black whole is some one-tenth of a percent of the mass from the whole galaxy. -> As bigger the galaxy is, as big is the black hole.

They guess, that a big mass of gas has collapsed, and the wormth of the black whole, brings the material around it to heat up->new stars.

    Sprials->Rotation of the gas clouds

  • Well there's also a newer and more fitting theroy about the spiral thing, but my english isn't good enough to explain that, sorry.

  • So we assume.

  • This vid needs to be put to some good music.

  • When I defend the Abrahamic faiths I do so not out of a desire to find out which one, if any, is the correct religion, but to show the influence of these organized faiths throughout the ages. Too often, people always talk about all the negative aspects and influence of religion, and often overlook the positive aspects and influence. That is all I was saying in regards to organized religion.

  • Agreed, there are many positive aspects of organized religion. My point was that in my opinion only the negatives outweigh them. I was also a bit of a rebel in school, for good or bad I to this day refuse to trust the media, textbooks and the like to some degree.

Religious doctrine to me anyways is the most narrow-minded approach to life, as valuable as many of the tenets are.

  • "Also mhesi, what on earth is wrong with denying history?"...Was that a serious question? Maybe we should forget what Newton taught us about Gravity and physics, throw Einsteins relativity theory out the window, and rewrite history the way we want to see it.

  • Nice try but you're way off. By denying history I meant the history that is generally accepted as taught by inferior educational systems. You mention the crusades, inquisition etc. Your kinda forgetting a few thousand other major/minor religious wars, acts of terrorism and so on...all committed in the name of one god or another. Back to the books pal.

  • meant you're. Sorry Tubers.

  • "Your kinda forgetting a few thousand other major/minor religious wars, acts of terrorism and so on"........hence the "etc" after the various examples I mentioned. And even various atrocities comitted in these examples are exagerrated. Yes, millions have died in the name of religion. But millions have also died in the name of state enforced atheism.

  • The Universe is teeming with intelligent life and countless civilizations worshipping countless 'gods'. If you've chosen one at the exclsuion of all others that's your right as a human. However, you should realize that by doing so you are accepting the destruction that comes with this type of dogmatic thought pattern. You're making my point for me pal. Good luck and goodbye.

  • How am I making your point? Did I not already tell you that I do not subscribe to any organized religion much less any one of the abrahamic faiths? Religion is a man made attempt at explaining the "why" questions of life, whereas science explains the "how" questions. I don't mean to be rude, but have you been reading my posts?

  • Just an example, pre Islamic Arabia was a violent, lawless place of perpetual civil strife. Mohammed enforced laws based on morality (do not kill newborn girls, chastity, importance of the judeo christian 10 commandments, etc. and ended the tribal conflict that plagued Arabia for thousands of years. By far the largest charities in the world today are Christian charities, so you cannot say the effect of religion has been completely bad.

  • You don't have to be religious to be a good person, but that's how people used to think, and many modern morals derive from the abrahamic faiths. Moses and the ten commandments, Jesus' and Mohammeds' teachings all introduced moral concepts that were way ahead of their time. The pre-Judeao Christian world did not base morality of religion, because old pagan gods were as amoral as humans.

  • nice sound..;)

  • Simply amazing!

  • OK a message for everyone conciousness is a result of evolution. The 10 commandments do nothing considering more religious people kill or are killing. And plus the original 10 commandments only referred to the jews. NOT EVERYONE.

  • Peace and love ,need on Earth now.......

  • Give the power to the people back!!!

  • My desire is to see those people who would be free of subjugating their will in lieu of religion, reclaim the free will over their own lives which has been usurped by dogma-But only those who would have it! The religious paradigm, while a human, subjective construct, is much needed for those who would be unable to function in a healthy manner without it.

  • It is a bold, frightening step to take, as the implications for truth can often be, and it is not for everyone. I would have my fellow man free, but only if he or she would, (and more importantly COULD) have it. It's been proven that while religion can definitely become the catalyst for mental instability, so can destroying a person's perceived view of reality.

Must retire now, truly friend, it's been a pleasure! Hope to debate with you again sometime...

  • I agree that religion has caused it's share of problems, and I do think we need new religions to replace our current ones, which I believe to be out dated. However, you overlook what these old traditions have done for us. The Abrahamic faiths introduced to us ten commandments and provided us with morals and civil rights unheard of in the ancient world. Yes, 500 years ago, life was cheap. But 2000 years ago, it was considerably cheaper, and I think we, in part, owe that to the Abrahamic faiths.

  • We owe nothing to them, by virtue of the fact that they represent a dead paradigm. Your "argument" is seeming less like one, than something I would say. To be sure, religion serves a valid purpose, of course it would not exist otherwise--But it's purpose is entirely based on what is perceived and subjective, (even considering altruism, or Jung's collective) as it's doctrines and perceived need of them is an entirely human construct.

  • Disagree. 'What's been done in the name of Jesus, what's been done in the name of Buddha, what's been done in the name of Islam...'? Why do you espouse Abrahamic faith?

I don't need religion do be a good person, the teaching came from my parents.

  • neorunt, I think you misinterpreted what I say. While I am not an atheist, I do not epouse Abrahamic faith. I respect these faiths as they laid the basis for modern morals. Anyone who is denying that is denying history. Yes, dogma and strict interpretations of scriptures has gotten a lot of people killed, but so has state enforced atheism. In fact Soviet and CHinese regimes killed more people in their short history than the entire history of organized religion.

  • 'In fact Soviet and CHinese regimes killed more people in their short history than the entire history of organized religion'. You are mistaken, by an incredible margin. Also mhesi, what on earth is wrong with denying history??? Think deeper before resonding.

  • The Chinese and Soviet Regimes death toll is in the hundreds of millions. You can do the math, and bring the crusades, the inquisition, various persecutions, etc. and it doesn't touch the Chinese and Soviet figure. Stalin and Mao had concentration camps that made Auswhitz look like a day care center.

  • This is not to say that all communists are atheists or vice versa, but it really was no different than the crusades of the middle ages. As for your claim that religion is a substitute for scientific inquiry, not many theologians or scientists would agree with that. Science measures the observable and the physical, religion deals with the philisophical/moral/existential etc, although the two are not mutually exclusive.

  • Most people who suscribe to the naturalistic view of conciousness believe it to be a distinclty human phenomenon, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. All animals have some degree of conciousness, pain sensation etc. Even amoebas, who do not have brains, appear to display some form of conciousness. So the idea that conciousness is somehow a byproduct of complexity in advanced brains or in this instence, the mammalian cortex is losing credibility.

  • Amazing
