Yes, once, in the country side, someone got one while hunting, but now it is forbiden to hunt them, it has been a while back.

Capybaras are rodents, so they're related to gerbils. But they're the largest rodents in the world, getting up to 150 pounds. Caplin, in this video, is only three weeks old. We got her from a breeder in texas. I believe private breeders are the only place you can get them in the united states.
