@gryffrees I agree Taffyistan was horrible before the English moved in, nowadays its civilised with flushing toilets so it makes easier to flush bullshit away.
I used to listen this band with my band mates in Colombia, the only thing we knew about them it was that they were from england and metallica had made a cover of "breadfan", that was before the internet a friend found the vynil at his aunt's and later we found more of their music, since then its one of my favorites brings back good memories from "the metal house" the best of the underrated bands.
now thats im talkin about!! i see the younger side of megadeth in these guys!! -no wonder dave made it as the top of the list as main influence!!! where's MOTORHEAD??--wat can you say??!!
Saw them live in 1980 at the Reading Rock Festival. They introduced this song with a comment, "We've got a song for you now by The Osmonds, IT'S CALLED PANZER DIVISION DESTROYED"
i remember standing by the stage hearing this for the first time, way back in the 80"s on this the power supply tour, cant remember who they were backing, def leppard or ozzy? but i was hooked from that day.
vastly underrated band with a ripper of a guitarist .What happened to John Thomas ? I knew he wasn't very well and I hope he made a full recovery . Great band ....a great fucking band
fuckin siiick!! i only found out about budgie from reading that they did the original Breadfan. recorded in 73. i had noo idea this music existed this early. found my new favorite band
