I watched this movie a few days ago. It blew me away. There's something magical in it that I can't put into words. At first I reacted negatively to its apolitical treatment of the oil industry's arrival in this bayou. But now I feel it taking me somewhere deeper than that, to a mystical realm beyond the political. It gives me chills just thinking about it. Amazing movie.
couldn't have said it any better. mystical, beautiful, but mainly indescribable.
