Just returned from a visit to my daughter in San Mateo and enjoyed some wonderful journeys on the 292 with the 1993 Gilligs and 2002 NABIs. What comfortable smooth rides. Will all the 1993 Gilligs be gone when I return for Christmas 2010? Those newer lowfloor Gilligs are not nearly as unique or comfortable.

unfortunately the 1993 Gilligs might all be gone by next month, they have already retired about 25 35ft gilligs and 30 40ft gilligs, by next Christmas the 1998 Gillig phantoms will be running that route

OK; that news could be worse, the 1998 Gilligs are just as comfortable. The newer lowfloor Gilligs which occassionally appeared on the 390/391 are horrible in comparison.
