  • FUCKING BEAST!

  • he wasn't fully extending until the end of his run, all I counted was 4 full extended pull-ups

  • if they gave me 23 chances..id break that record..

  • my record is 0 :(

  • He is the Brown Belt European Jiu Jitsu champion 2010, 2 times FL State champion and now he is a Black Belt

  • I could beat the record :(

I would like to try that aswell :)

see my video if u dont believe :P

  • This kid is a bitch. -Hater

  • no, he is a quitter making excuses.

  • for a champion in jew jitsu that was crappy he didnt go down all the way on any of them so the real number he got is 0 but if u count those crappy pullups 22 is still nothin

  • @MrRucknroll its Jiu Jitsu. not jew

  • @codyLIKESbaseball yea i know its just funnier to say jew jitsu

  • hes not a bjj brown belt world champ. i have no idea what your talking about

  • i saw maybe 17 actual pull ups but thats still not bad

  • hes not the ultimate fighter

  • solid effort man and you were of solidish size too.

  • are you allowed to kip?

  • "Pedro Lima" was never a world champion. I'm sorry that you feel so desperate to try to brag about all of your brothers/brother-in-laws but they are all panzies. 22 pullups? That's nothing. Even if he did them correctly.

  • @mrtowely12 You are such a little pussy all you can do is hate.

  • @Blizzeekitty You're cool.

  • @mrtowely12 fagzor.

  • @mrtowely12 Lets see you do 22! i bet ur some fatass sitting at home in your mothers basement posting stupid comments on videos of things you wish you could do. Get a life asshole

  • @mrtowely12 I AGREE. there is nothing ultimate about this shit. nor does his fighting ability (which only u know of) justify the title here... u cant call peoplea haters or pussies simply cuz u cant see what were seeing

  • @mrtowely12 RETARD

  • not Marine standard, not all the way down or chin over the bar

  • Marine corps record is some insane amount like 115 pull up. The kid did it in like 2007 google it

  • 26 by extremistpullup at the State Fair...

  • 23 for the record.. would that just be for civvies or does it account for the USMC people there aswell? Cause to be honest if its the army including thats abit shocking.

  • He seems to be in good shape but he was doing pull ups the wrong way

  • Nice job man so many haters

  • he's doing them in a bodybuilding way ^^ keeping the tension up the whole time :D what's his name btw?

  • @XowntXihqX This was 2 years ago. He quit ultimate fighting and is now the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt World Champion. Pedro Lima.

  • lol hes brazilian jiu jitsu fighter-- this explains why he could do them but that bar was too low for him obviously he was doing dead hang. but ahh its good enough.. and fyi by record they meant.. record so far in that day at the fair.. not world record.. lol ...and yes there is a different between pull ups and chin ups and dead hang pull ups.. nice tho good effort.. not Marine Corps pull ups but awesome..

  • Thanks, that was it exactly. Love how people get all worked up in the comments.

He won the middle brown World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Portugal this year.

  • haha screw that record get the shirt

  • get drunk, find a gun

  • well done for all the haters if your so good proof it mofos

  • He didn't do a single one. Anyone can go half way down.

  • i bet those recruiters get tired of telling every single civilian to "go all the way down"...i havent even seen one video where the person fully extends there elbows through the entire exercise without the Marine telling them how to do it

  • Ok......with the right technique, he did about 10 (MAYBE), plus those last 3-4 pull ups he didnt get his chin even to the bar.

  • impressive. i've been doing pullups and/or chinups every day for the past 5 months, weigh less than you, and i'm not even sure if i could do that. probably not, even with the not perfect form. i'm no weakling either. can bench over 1.5x my bodyweight.

  • Just letting all of you who are not marines know, these are recruiters at these shows so there going to let you think you did more than any DI would count. If you do not fully extend your arms down it doesnt count. Thats the hardest part is coming back up AFTER extending your arms because you have to lift all that dead weight over and over. If you dont go all the way down its easy to just get that little burst to get yourself up. Its like doing a benchpress but only going down half way.

  • thats pretty good too everytime they come to our school almost all the russians do over 30 pulls not chin ups i do 55 for the t-shirt the bottle and the lanierd.. but my max was 61

  • thats higher than the world record, bud.

  • lol the world record is waaayy higher than that

  • the record at boot camp is 131

  • funny

  • you know what they would have said at a USMC PFT...with only Marines...they would have counted...just like this...1....1.....1....1......2........2....he did maybe 2 MARINE pull ups...maybe..just FYI not trying to be an ass...but it is what it is...

  • Yep, in all the services actually. One brother was a Marine, another was in the Guard. :)

  • dude i gotta find one of these marine stands at a fair or boardwalk or something .... record of 23??? thats nothing ... i can do 40 on a good day

  • post a video chump.

  • haha, ya know whats funny, on august 20th, i was in Atlantic City, NJ on the boardwalk, it was the most crowded day of the year BY FAR because of the air show ..... i found a marine pull up thing, the bar was crappy, but i got 35 and got the record

  • stop talkin and post a vid

  • i don't know where to film it at, the bar in my room would not be possible to film ... actually, i found a marine stand in Atlantic City when they had the air show, i only got 35, but the bar shook a lot and i didn't have chalk which i usually have for a max ... if you don't believe me, i have a picture of the board on facebook

  • he's not even doing it properly. he needs to go "ALL THE WAY DOWN!"

    -Sgt. of Marines

  • @TheIcemanw Well he is not a marine, so therefore, those rules do not apply.

  • i can do 38 pull ups

  • just a few days ago, I tried to do a pull-up. A single pull-up. I just kind of hung there looking ridiculous, lol.

  • Hehehe!

  • @mistryl mhm im there with you xD

  • Interesting looking video of him!!!!!

  • you have a cute brother in law :P

i think i would die if i did half of ONE... 22 is outta the question!

  • Congrats! That was impressive!!-Jamie

  • Boy's got some guns!! Thanks, Grams

  • WOW!!! I couldnt do one to save my life Ill bet! Very Impressive! Noe he can say he has the t-shirt to prove it! Thinking about you girl and hoping that you and Cam have a fantastic holiday weekend! HUGS xoxo

  • oh Blizzee girl remind me never 2 mess with U ;o) with a bro-in-law that strong I would B squashed like a bug ;o) So instead {HUGS} 2 U ... THANKS 4 sharing! State Fairs R so cool... ours is Sept 4 to 14

  • Woot woot brother in law!!! AWESOME job. :) Dammit if I didn't want to see him break that record. He bailed just because he didn't want to be on the board? Hahahaha He coulda put his name as Harry Crack or something!!! That woulda been fun to see :)

  • WOW! Talk about a Superman!

  • I'm impressed. About all I would have done is bent the bar to the ground. LOL

  • he did waaaaay more than I could that's for sure lol. no t-shirt for me.

  • Free Shirts are cool.

  • I wouldn't exactly call that free. hehehe He worked for it.

  • True.

  • It's all about free t-shirts... (=
