@cari002 curly hair can "look" bulky sometimes and cutting curly hair while it's twisted will allow irregular lengths which is the same thing you have when you point-cut or use thinning shears. So basically, depending on what you want with shaping (cutting hair) curly hair will determine wheather or not you use the technique. Don't use it if you want fullness. Use it if you want less fullness and also of coarse remember that the fullness that you want varies depending on how much you cut.
