@MrGames64 just the built-in bluetooth manager in windows. With the right driver (google>wii remote windows driver>first hit and BAM there it is) and software to be able to use the wiimote (google>GlovePie) u'll be ready to play!

to get a wiimote working on PC u need a bluetooth key and a program like "bluesoleil" to sync between the pc and the mote.

after that u simply reassign wiicontrols in glovepie by using command lines...

I would have personally configured it with the nunchuk, so that you can use the analog stick to strafe and move forward much nicer. D-pad could be used for switching weapons, B trigger to shoot of course, A-action/use button, C-jump, Z-crouch, + -pause, and I suppose you can keep the tilting on the Wii remote if you really want to (would prefer IR functionality though so that you can aim at the screen via the Wiimote IR reciever)

@Ketorulz IR is much faster, but the way pc fps control is that the mouse is locked in the center of the screen so you when you move it, it is converted to camera movement. When you want to turn further than your wrist will allow, you lift up the mouse, put it back in the center of your pad, then drag it again. You can't do that with the wii remote since it is a continuous aiming thing. The way wii fps's work is that the camera moves when the recticule leaves a bounding box in the screen center.

You can do that with the wiimotion plus if you use the A button releasing as an equivalent to mouse lifting.

The gameplay is then similar to the one you can have with a mouse.

@Ealija pc,s use the bluetoothe to send and retrieve data from the wiimote. The pc isnt fully compatible with the wiimote and probably never will be inless you have the special broadcom bluetooth in a wii. The wiimote's lights arent getting data from the pc to turn on only one led light so the wiimote just blinks forever. Like clicking the sync button. Although the wiimote is fully functional without the leds working, there just for looks.

I really want to get this working, but it won't work. At first the wii remote blinked all 4 buttons after I got it connected, but it wouldn't stop blinking 4 buttons. After that, every time I connect it it immediately shuts off or the 1 and 4 player lights shine, and shortly after they shine the remote shuts off and I have to start all over again.

Not to mention Windows has been available on Macs ever since Apple switched to Intel processors, so just about any game you can imagine playing on a PC, you can play on a Mac. :)

@TFKTE I suppose that it's impossible in pc fps games, because the cross-hairs always are in the middle of the display. So If you would like to shoot at something that is in the upper left corner, the target comes to the cross-hair, not reverse. So with wiimote mouse you wouldn't able to aim anywhere else but the middle. Anyway, in online flashgames that's a good idea. (when to crosshairs move)

I got a classic controller to play HL2 on my PC using Bluetooth and GlovePIE. It's not as good as using my mouse, but analogs are still better than a delayed accelerometer (I'd rather use an analog than an unnatural wrist flick to return fire on a Metrocop). Plus, it actually has enough buttons for every useful in-game function: L/R Sticks=Move/Look A=Use/Squad B=Jump X=Reload Y=Flashlight R=Primary L=Secondary ZR=Sprint ZL=Crouch + =Pause - =Prev.Weapon D-Pad =Weapon Switch / Zoom / Grav. Gun
