People always have this stereotype when it comes to Latin Americans. We're not all mixed and there are lots that are of Anglo-Saxon heritage solely. It doesn't make them any less Latin American than the mixed ones. There are also lots of Asians.

So, actually, every brazilian has ascendence from somewhere outside brazil, because the native people were all killed when the colonizers arrived here. So, we have just 0,6%.

Let me explain something for the ignorant ones. Where do you thing brazilian population comes from? obviously EUROPE and AFRICA. The europeans (usually germans, italians, portugueses and spanish) came here like 300 years ago. So ALL BRAZILIANS have or african ascendence or european. Me, for an example, i have spanish and italian ascendence, but i'm brazilian, and really proud of that. Brazil has 40 milion italian descendents and 27 milion with german ascendence. got it?

Yeah. Brazil is the country with most italians, germans and japaneses out of their countries. And we can't say that we mixed with brazilians because the indians were decimated and they live now in the northwest, like in amazonia for example.And I was born here. Cool that you are Italian.

Her grandmother was german, her grandfather was german, she is brazilian. her name is Gisele Caroline, not Lena. her dog's name is Vida, not Leben. she's able to talk about her country, which is Brazil not Germany. P.S. i have a german name too, my mother is german, i speak german, i love Germany and i lived there. but I'm still brazilian.

There are no "brazilian genes" every single person in this country has mixed blood whether it is european, african, asian. To say she is not really brazilian because her surname is german and she prefers white boys (as if there weren't any here!) is just stupid stereotyping and shows that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Yea, it's like every countrie in Latin America and North-America. The most of people in America continent has a heritage from Europe or Africa. I'm a german-brazilian and i'm from the south of brazil, because germans came after the second war to the south so it's pretty european. and oh, brazil was colonizated by portugueses, so i think is pretty european. haha, just like america.
