i'm getting pretty tired of always hearing that nadal is better then roger. it is true that he has beaten him quite a lot of times but you got to look at this: federer won al his GS in 8 years. nadal has won his first when he was 19, he is already playing his fifth year on the tour. I would certainly doubt that he could win another 10 GS in three years ( actually 2 cause he is not going to win any GS this year). It is true that nadal has more time to brake fed's record but now fed is the best!

I read all the comments and it makes me laugh. Because there seem to be only two type of people out there-Rogers or Nadals fans. They are both great.

I like Federer the best just because he plays beautiful tennis.People say that he always has the easy matches. I don't think it's true but if there is some truth he has earned it. The only legend who still has a shot to compete for the GOAT would be Laver. Federer's taken all arguements from the great players:

-more slams than sampras

-more wimbledons than borg

-more graceful style than Mcenroe (whos almost orgasmic when talking about Fed)

As i said the only player able to compete with Fed for the GOAT title is Laver. IMO if Federer reaches, lets say 20 GS victories, there won't be much space for debate anyway.

Federer only got 15 grand slams coz Nadal was injured, He won clay court coz all the top players were out ( lucky escape) as he never faced any of them. Nadal has 6 grand slams at 23 , something Federer never had at that age. Records are meant to be broken en Nadal can break Feds coz his still got lots more years in him. And US open is the only Grand slam Nadal hasn't won yet. Nadal loses like a champ, unlike Fed who gets short tempered when a games not going his way.....Yeah i said it

There's no getting through to you is there? You're obviously in love with Nadal. Ignore your love of Nadal and all talk of charisma for a moment and look at it from purely a tennis point of view. Federer is the greatest of all time, FACT. Regardless of whether Nadal was playing in the French open or not it doesn't change the fact that Federer has now won all four Grand Slams, something Nadal may never achieve. There's no real comparison between the two, Federer is streets ahead.

And can you Describe why nadal is injured .. in a grand slam and roger has played 40 continuous GS ... :). Be frank Nadal's style is pressuring too much on his body. and when he is not running well, whatever the reason may be, he looks defeatable. Of course he played short, of course he didn't play his best tennis because otherwise he would've won. Roger dominated his generation COMPLETELY. By his generation I mean : Roddick, Nalbandian, Hewitt, Safin,Robredo and so on...Federer is at least 5 years older than one of his rivals today-5 years older than Nadal, 6 than Djokovic and Murray and 7 Del Potro,Cilic.

And Federer hasn't won all his Slams easily. It just LOOKS easy cause he's a genious. He'd whack players such as Ivanisevic, Rafter, Krajicek in 3 sets on grass. The only guy whod have a shot 'd be Pistol.

If f.e. Sampras and Hewitt or Safin were playing together a couple times does it mean they are the same generation? You must be joking...Sampras is 3-3 with Safin 2-3 with Roddick and 2-3 with Hewitt - they're all 10 years younger than him. Murray, Djokovic, Del Potro and other are +5 years younger than Federer and most of them still get owned.

Murray's top ambition is to have a positive head to head with Federer, not majors. He's ONE BIG LOL to me.
