  • Hi! My name is Tom Jones and welcome to Time Life, sounds of the sixties.

  • I'm Alive Yeay !!!!!!

  • Wake up to this song everyday! I'M ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVEEEE!!!!

  • Thubs up if you are listening this in 2011

  • @Jorian7100 asking for thumbs is so childish

  • The intro reminds me of YEAH TOAST!!

  • the Johnny thunder (not "Thunders") is by far the best.. but Tom kicks it pretty good here.

  • the Johnny thunder (not "Thunders") is by far the best

  • this is better than this : watch?v=jMhTNX1971E

  • See Danilo James . The day when heaven cried...it´s great

  • he's a MÁN!

Sounds so natural, when tom says he's a man you better believe it...

  • Dare to sing this 12 o'clock on a cementery...

  • @euroalby lol !!! you begins ? I make the background vocals !

  • make on black ops a parody on nazi zombie's with this song!

  • 6 people, they weren't alive anymore...

  • @callanful fucking zombie's lmao

  • I love Tom Jones. He can cover a song and make me forget that anyone else ever did it. He truly make it his own. What a voice! What a man!

  • The great serbian song...similar to this... Listen!!!

Leo Martin (Laura 2000 remix) - Ima vremena

  • Ermm, nvm! I just read the comment below me ._.

  • The original is just called 'Alive' by October Country from 1966 released as a B Side to their garage single 'Big One Now', then came Johnny Thunder's 1969 version which in my opinion is the best version, but comes close to Don Fardons 1970 New Zealand number one hit version. Tom released this recently but i must say it is a very decent cover. Obviously a fucken good song if it can have so many good covers!

  • 6 people aren't alive

  • losers

  • losers,, orginal is 10000000000000000X better :P

  • @timmy123sk8

then why the fuck do you listen to it:S

  • i'm think i'm a bit confused.

which one is the original? this one or from don fardon?

anyways i like don fardon's version more

  • @erikwaterpolo Neither, the original is from someone else (not Fardon, nor Jones)

  • @erikwaterpolo

Neither one (not Fardon, nor Jones); the original is from Tommy James & The Shondells!

  • GO MAN! GO!!! LIVING LIFE!!!

  • this is the fifth song i have heard from his 24 hours Cd. i have liked everyone of them.

  • Legend

  • What a Lush chap he was !......bet he had some lush times as well !...he he he,

shame we all have to grow old !.......still love hay tom !xxx

  • I reckon tom had done the best cover, don fadon and johnny thunder are the other two versions.

I rate in this order : 1. Tom jones 2. Johnny thunder. 3 Don fadon.

Was originally writen and sung by Tommy James & The Shondells there version is quite different though.

  • who came here cuz of a dancing dodo in a fruit juice advert? haha

  • @ChRIs23696 Yep, I did!

  • I prefer the dancing Dodo!!

  • This is one seriously good cover! I think Im gonna have to use it for my next MTB video compilation... its perfect for the footage and goddamn funky too : )

  • i like dancing dodo better

  • OH MY GOD this is the best version I've heard

  • dodo sings better -.-

  • @OliviaCandice0727 It's funny because the dodo is in fact Don Fardon

  • Comment removed

  • awful version...what a twat

  • true, this isnt the original, but you cant deny Toms Jones' ability. hes a LEGEND!

  • The Dodo Is Alive!

  • Don Fardon released this song in 1969 Tom (I will cover any thing as long as its funky) sang this in 1970. fair play to Tom he had good taste but Don had soul and beats this hands down imo.

  • Don Fardons "5 alive" (hmmm) version is better.... A great version on a quirky advert, but I don't think merely the application of a juice drink would bring back the dead! Anyway I'm buying 1000 gallons and flooding the graveyard!!!!!!!! you may see it on youtube but I think a certain Mr Jackson beat (it) me to it. lol

  • @igobet

the original was by Don Fardon ;)

  • i just saw a advert with this song i really like it

  • @xhaxhibb the 5 alive juice one with the dodo?..if so it's a wicked advert! =p..i wanna know who sang that version

  • @rhcpguru123 yess that one and the real version is more fire than tom jones...... Don Fardon - I'm Alive

  • sunnybum66@xhaxhibb Yep the Don Fardon version undoubtly the best. This old crooner should give up now if he cant do original songs of his own anymore.

  • he is "a" man

  • the fucker is alive and he is man!

  • original version is made by Tommy James & The Schondells

  • he is the best..

  • fabulso!!!!

    i love this song!

    =]

  • Presente nella compilation : " Le beat bespokè vol.1 " e cantata da Don Fardon scritta da Lucia/Shondell.

guitar is awesome in this song, tom rocks

  • What's old is new and is better than ever! Tom Jones still has it! Today's artists don't come close! Tom Jones latest album shows there's still some hope left in the music industry.

  • i heard this song on Jay Leno and had to have it! Tom Jones still has it!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm with you Alex...I dvr'd Leno and finally watched it last night. My eyes bugged out of my head--and said "Oh my, TOM!" I gotta get this CD to! What's old is very new again!

  • Yes, another great Tommy James song covered by another artist!

  • I think this version is better than the original.

  • what was the original?

  • who did the original version?

  • The original was by Don Fardon.... I think.

  • I thought this was the song that BONO wrote for Tom's new album...

  • Bono wrote Sugar daddy, as Tom said himself with a grin on his face, 'whatever made him write that??????'

    Tom is the man!

  • @hollycalder you're right!

  • Tommy James

  • @kitty805805 who is this covered from ? Hehe ;b

  • @kitty805805 tom is a stronger singer, with a much higher priced production. hard to top this one!

  • Tom's version is based on a 1970 cover of "I'm Alive" by Don Fardon

  • @rwells47 Don Fardon.

  • @rwells47 I thought the original was by Don Fardon ?

  • "I'm real, I can breathe and touch and feel", oh YES!

  • Sir Tom's performance on GMA, Good Moring America, blows this studio track away. Check it out.

    vp

  • Speechless...

  • Woh! Sounds as great as his older songs. If you've never seen Tom Jones live, go go go.
