that is so dangerous... I saw something similar but the old lady was pushing her wheel chair while her items from Macy's was in it and she was going down the escalator and her wheel chair got stuck and she and it fell down the escalator.

My son has Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheel chair and sometimes my husband takes him up the escalator like that. Honestly, the escalator is faster:)
