so the final option he lists is the correct one. it also happens to be humanly impossible and, like preaching everywhere, in failing to address this he skirts the issue.
so all he does is hold the law up to people, especially new converts.
and that is the best even the best of the so called christian ministries can do.
thanks for nothing.
if there is anything to learn i will have to go to the Lord directly and personally. this man gives slogans and thinks he has impartd wisdom. not.
Woa wait. "Jesus chooses to love SOME"?? How does Mark deal with verses like 1 Timothy 2:4 "God our Saviour, who wants ALL MEN to be saved." Or what about John 1:7 "He came as a witness to testify ...so that through Him ALL MEN might believe." John 3:8 doesn't answer 4 Calvinists. Just because it explains that we don't know where its coming from or goin, doesn't mean we must not have accepted God first to receive it. We still can't "track" it once we have the Spirit. It will always b mysterious
@Bobbo825 Look at the words, even in English. Wants all men, and all men might. Not will and do.
Additionally read all the bible. Its clear we could all go to hell and God would be justified. Salvation is not a right that some lose, its a gift that some receive.
Whilst you can pick a verse here and there to argue either, whilst it might be hard to understand, or believe, election is the theme of the bible, specifically regarding Jesus words. The bible is not just one verse. Take it as a whole.

@Bobbo825 Hi brother...perhaps I can help you out with the "all men" confussion. If "all men" means everyone who ever lived upon the face of the earth, we have major problem in John 2:20 where all men went to see Jesus Christ being baptized by him. It is obvious "all men" does not mean everyone who has ever lived upon the earth. The Gentiles coming to Christ created a problem among Jewish believers and so Christ had to explain to them that "all men", not just the Jews are included.
Man there was a guy who was alwayse, alwayse making religion jokes with it being a given that the Devil is stronger than God. And he alwayse said "Gahhwd" and one day, I'm listening to my Ipod, I overhear him making Jesus jokes, I go "shut up", he goes "he he, he's doing Jesus stuff agai.." Shut Up!" "Woooow, sombody got up wrong side of the bed" "SHUT UP!"
Jesus was a rebel, a renegade outlaw, a sanctified trouble maker but he never sinned naw. Jesus life was a storm of controversy. The apostles, like the prophets before them, could hardly go a day without controversy. Paul said that he debated daily in the marketplace. To avoid controversy is to avoid Christ. We can have peace, but it is a servile and carnal peace where truth is slain in the streets. I guess im a jesus freak too!! good stuff :)
@116Phanatic "But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless." - Titus 3:9
that was very good....and so true. I'm a fundamentalist, and I guess I need to start telling more about the gospel rather than scientifically trying to undermine evolutionists...great vid
@bigguy2128 fundamentalist just means adherence to the inerrancy of scripture, pretty much that all the bible is true...despite the stigmas attached to it thats pretty much its definitional meaning and what that dude probably meant.
Awesome! TY Jesus! TY Pastor!

@desasterz I had a co worker who purposely tried to tick me off from Jesus jokes to whatever. He was bitter about Jesus.
