@EvilWaterman No one -just- boosts.. they boost to a level to get access to all the weapons they want and then they play. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, considering 80% of my kills are from the M4A1.. first weapon you get as an engineer. USAS-12 + Frag rounds would be worth it though.

then theres the whole topic of level based unlocks. the usas12 is very powerful, but you dont have it when you first start. you have to work for it. these guys dont.

@MrA88buckshot It really has no effect whatsoever on the game play aside from the fact that there's 4 less people actually playing, which can happen normally, and in larger numbers. Since they keep reviving eachother it doesn't help or hurt either teams score, It only helps them rank up quickly, and unlock more stuff, so they can seriously play the game with the equipment they want to use.

I even fly the jets/helicopters when i go to my friends to help him unlock stuff because I know how frustrating it was starting out. Regardless of what I unlocked for him he still needed much practice before he was able to win his first dogfight, and get used to strafing. He still has a long way to go though. Not to mention he still can't fly a helicopter for shit.

Ranking is a very important part of multiplayer experience. If you don't rank and boost instead, you won't ever have that feeling "Oh damn! Only 3 kills more and i will unlock that super awesome weapon!!". And for me, this feeling is a very important part of the game, THIS is fun.
