  • Just beautiful! System, turn table, record, song...what a beautiful complete package here!

  • It sounds really nice, could you tell what is the SPU's version in your system?

  • original pressing

  • This is outstanding!! Thank you so very much for your careful transfers.

  • Actually, the anti-skate weight is disconnected on purpose. I don't think it makes too much of an audible difference on a 12" arm.

I use grease in the bearing. Right now the Garrard is in storage, pending a new listening room being built. I plan to have the Garrard, VPI, and Avid all connected in the system when finished.

  • Your bias weight has fallen off and the arm has the wrong bias guide. Sounds beautiful though. Just curious, do you have grease in the 301 bearing or do you use oil?

  • music played played form vinyl records have more depth and spirit than digital music

  • Nice turn table!

  • wow incredible sound from an LP

  • @chenwenhua2269 you can't really experience the real sound quality of a vinyl record over youtube... you simply have to listen to it yourself, in person... it' then that you really hear how vinyl sounds so much better than anything else....

  • @tahaa7 yeah i agree i also have three working turntables and i have a record collection of about 2k records. Nothing beats the vinyl.

  • @tahaa7 Oh I can :) I don't have this particular record and I would much rather listen to this youtube video over the Hoffman double LP remaster version that I have. This is a VERY careful transfer and today's HD Youtube lets a LOT of that quality shine through.

  • @tahaa7 but you can get a rough idea at least. If it sounds good at 128kbps AAC (what youtube uses on the 360/480/720p) then it's going to sound stunning on that set up in real life! Some really nasty TT setups introduce noise that can be noticed even on a highly compressed lossy format like this!

  • Tis is one of my favorite songs! The red record is a hoot! Thanks for posting it.

  • Hi, great set. Is this coloured vinyl a recent release? I've heard about some recent releases of Beatles, Elvis and another classics on red, yellow, blue vinyl. Do you know about them? Is this a 180g edition?

  • what a beautiful turntable!

  • Great sound quality out of this setup. Must be the MC phono section of the McIntosh?

  • what is the rest of the system ?
