  • By God! Share with us the tab of this song! I like it so much!

  • OK, who is 'Guitarvangelist' and why does this guitar sound so great? The crisp deep bass notes held for a couple beats are just right for this slow blues, and the syncopated melody lines in 16ths & 8ths cleanly cut through on top. In my mind my ancient Guild D-50 sounds something like this - clean powerful bass and sweet singing treble. I've been Guitarvangelized!

  • My hat's off to you.Fantastic playing,buddy!

  • Fantastic -- great song, performance, sound, all of the above... Really wonderful!

  • Why the hell are your vids not more popular?

  • Great Playing!

When did you get your TE1...?

    How's it holding up...?

Getting one myself in a few weeks. How do you find the Maton AP5 system compared to Apmic system.?

  • Hey pal, i've been searching for deciding between taylors, gibsons, martins...but ur maton realie won me over! Can u help me decide if i should get the maton808te or should i get the TE-1 dreadnought? i mostly play jazz blues, blues, pop, and alot of strumming and flat picking..i realie like the woody tone of maton! respond soon!!

  • Beautiful playing.

    Your guitar sounds incredible! *****

  • You are actually a good guitarist, I mean Awesome, You are a true inspiration to me and now i want to get an Acoustic just to play that style of Blues as i never knew it could give off such a tone, So beautiful ='D

  • It's great listening to your songs over and over! You're a true artist, thanks so much for posting these!

  • It's not a rip off but I think it's very inspired by uuhm jiffy jam by mister jerry reed (R.I.P)

    Very very good :)

  • Hi there! Great playing, very clean!! Is this Maton a custom shop? or is it the Messiah EM100c??

  • its Tommy Emmanuel TE-1

  • Yes echoes of "blue finger" and of "drive in" maybe in parts but in reality it is a stand out tune all on its own - I really loved it. Great sound production too was a bonus.

  • wow! simply amazing!!!!!

  • I've no words: YOU ARE GREAT !

    Cheers from Italy

    Rob

  • WOW!man you're awesome blues player i think!!

What key of This improvisation? Cheers from Stas!

  • You are good GV, I really liked that, it got me swaying, tappin my knees and feet, its cool.

  • Nailed it! Great stuff. Michael

  • Really nice.. have you heard 'blue finger' by jerry reed, this kind of reminds me of it.

  • You are right, it is similar. I heard that tune many years ago. It is definitely in the same family, but not a rip-off. There is also a TE tune that is similar, though I don't think he plays it anymore. I learned that one years ago too. Think of this as a tribute to them.

  • oh no, i didnt mean that it was a ripoff or anything. Your melody is way more funky.. i dig it.

  • Fantastic! You should be too busy making cd's or doing studio work to have time for Youtube. But we appreciate your charitable contribution to our listening pleasure.

  • Ha ha! If I weren't so busy doing studio work, albums and tours for other people I would have finnished my own cd by now and have LOTS more videos on youtube! Thanks for the comments!

  • Great pickin´ and groovy blues!

    Cheers

    Martin

  • Very Nice man!!! Got a great feel to it.
