For sure. The best always go early.. Its hard to live in and leave this beauty but someone has to remind us that we all have potential and talent not matter what it is! Find yourself and find a friend that play and play, play, play.....
Hope this doesn't sound so negative, but the one thought that came to me, as I listened to this, is how glad I am that Jonas and Shawn found each other before it was too late.
“When I hear new music coming into my head, its mission is integrated into its notes. It basically tells me how it wants to be.” – John McLaughlin. From Page 1 of the book “Follow Your Heart – John McLaughlin song by song.”
John is accompanied by rhythm guitar, drums and bass. It sounds like this. But the gut strung classical guitar has a very thin tone, any way , really great music.
@SevenCircles Many of us dream of that reunion... God, what a duo! And what it might be with today's Jonas, a much deeper musician than those days back, could anyone imagine?!
anyone got the guitar tab for 3:14 to 3:40 ? If you have can you let me know what it looks like ;-)

McLaughlin is 1 of the best players i have seen live but the tone on this guitar is awful.. very thin.. this is usually due to a low action.....
bensooty1 9 months ago
@bensooty1 The tone is due to the live mic'ing and poor reproduction. Not to mention ther ecording is compressed all to hell.
