now where did you come off, giving me the jive, about the jungle that i'm living in, hard to survive, where do you come off, son a bitch, tryin to make money, hit it, without a hitch! f'n classic
The 7" of this song was released with a limited edition, one sided single, Whiskey In The Jar, live from Eire '78 with Midge, which Blacksabfan has uploaded.
The first 1000 copies of this package were pressed, by Polydor, with two B-sides of Nineteen, and no A side.
this featured Robin George on lead guitar and paul hardcastle and was recorded at the rondhouse studio in camden.
Robin also wrote the title crying diamonds with phil which was the title track on robins CD, details can be found on the damage control music web site.
there is also another version of this i have remixed by paul hardcastle walled "19" war mix and features segments from vietnam and robert nixon
At 1:04 - 1:08 'Larkhall'...... but he knew and I knew where I was at the time....
It was just after I'd given him a photo of me in my band as a teen that he wanted...
It is also mentioned elsewhere on the tracks......... 'Larkhall'. Listen out next time you play those hits, because some of them where with my collaboration.
This is the first thing i bought from Phil back when it was released.Sadly it was his last. Great song ! It proves how great the man was.He did everything from blues, traditional Irish, rock, hard rock, ballads, heavy stuff, dance, and everything else between...

This just sounds like it was slowed down, which is the reason for the extra 20 seconds of play.

I just turned 19 ... this is my new theme song. When I was 18, it was Alice Cooper's "I'm 18" :D
