Does nobody even consider that they wanted to pay respects to Heath's memory by leaving his last incredible role as is? To go into all the behind the scenes of the joker would have ruined the mystique of the character first of all, and I would have been weird for anyone working on the film to drudge up those videos.
@malows1234 hmm i dont recall saying that no one else contributed to the roll of the joker but ok. i'm simply saying that considering it being one of heath's last roles, it would've been nice to see more of him in the special features of the dvd and clearly 56 other people agree with me. but at this point in time i appreciate that fact that they kept it a mystery. but thanks for labeling me "one of those retards who idolozes actors", seriously right on the dot there bro.
FUCK! i want to see behind the scenes stuff with Heath and The Joker, FUCK YOU Christopher Nolan for not ever putting any good behind the scenes shit on DVDs on any of your films!
@TheDM75 Of course it's his fault you idiot, he's the one who created the special features and decided what was seen and what wasn't seen, there must have been a TON of behind the scenes stuff with the Joker, but he didn't release any of it.

filmanchor, THANK YOU SO MUCH for uploading this!! You can bet I clicked Like!! I do not care what the "dislikes" think, they can all bloody bugger off!!
I think what they are trying to do, is, hold back a lot of footage of Heath behind the scenes and all that, to make it all more mysterious, and perhaps creating a legend in the wake of his sudden passing.
it's frustrating, because the joker is what made this movie, what put this movie out there, and he's not even on youtube, save the clips people posted from the movie. that just sucks
I Can't Believe This! They hid this featurettes from all the public audiences!!!!!!! These are not included on any DVDs or Blu-Rays!!!!! No! Not Fair! They are so friggin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why is there no footage of Heath Ledger? He was the prime, the signature star of The Dark Knight. He didn't die until the end. Which sucks really bad BTW. I greive everyday over his death. Heath we'll meet in the resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous.
It's actually kinda weird to see a director wearing a suit. They're almost always in like a t-shirt + jeans or even sweatpants. It's like they'd wear nothing but undies if they could. Brilliant brilliant movie, by the way!
What's that in the description about an actor named Richard Caine? Never heard of such an actor, I have, though, heard of MICHAEL Caine. I just can't believe someone can make such a stupid and obvious mistake in TWO vid descriptions and still hasn't corrected it.
what the heck! what a rip off, do they not realize that heath is basically the star of this movie and he was the one who brought so much publicity to it in the first place and now they barely show anything that includes him and the parts where they show him, its far away and bad quality. seriously now? do they not see that people would want to see heath as much as possible especially because he's gone. ugh. w.e. i love you heath and i miss you so flipping much, i'd do anything to have you back
WELL DUH!!! that's cos he never did any interviews after the film cos of he's tragic death and how were they to know this guy is going to die, its not like "oh hes going to die so lets interview him more than everyone on the set!" honestly just should have used ur brains there........
that's actually not what i meant but ok. im pretty sure there was enough footage behind the scenes of him as well as everyone else especially for having the roll as the joker so that alone should have been included whether or not he died. the fact that he did die should have made them include more afterwards.
I don't think it was so much the movie producers or the movie picture companies rather his family who didn't want everyone who bought a copy of The Dark Knight to have the one of the few last images of Heath Ledger in their households as well as many others. But of course You Tube contributes to that.
@TheRosieShmosie I don't think it has anything to do with them not giving him credit, Heath always sort of shied away from interviews and extras and whatnot so I don't think that they have too much footage of him. I agree with you though, I would've liked to see a bit more of how his scenes where shot and so on and not only was he the catalyst for the publicity but also the most interesting part of the entire film.
@nevers4yforever yeah i agree with what you said and i understand that. i know Heath was the kind to shy away from the media and all that but in all of his other films there have definitely been a lot more behind the scenes footage/interviews with him and he shares great passion about the film itself. it's when they get into his personal life, thats when he puts up a wall. but whether it be interviews or footage, there should have been more included especially since it was one of his last roles.
@TheRosieShmosie I totally understand your anger about not having enough footage of Heath but I think that should be something separate from behind the scenes. 2 tell you the truth they should make a Behind the Face of Joker dvd with all footage or Heath kind of like a diary sort of thing but this footage here is great stuff they are putting out. No offense but as a film maker when people r looking for behind the scenes footage they looking for on the set type stuff. No disrespect towards heath.
@TheRosieShmosie heres an idea, the reason they dont show heath, doing the voice, in non make up, or show him being normal in makeup is because that would take away from the mystique of the wonderful acting he preformed as the joker, if people saw behind the scenes footage with him then when they saw joker seens, they wouldnt be the same
@TheRosieShmosie hmm...i think Heath chose not to have any cameras on him for the "behind the scenes" featurette. He really did become the Joker and therefore was a role too personal. Some actors like to just keep their characters discreet
@TheRosieShmosie your one of those retards who idolizes actors, when heath performance was not great because of heath ledger's acting talent only, it was great thanks to a brilliant script, an awesome costume designer, a great make up artist, good direction, and excellent editing, and superb music, ITS NOT HEATH LEDGER's joker, its the crew's joker, and heath is part of it. so stfu and stop idolizing stars like only they matter. everyone else on set has just as much work.
If you read the script (before you ask, I have) you'll see that Heath Ledger did actually change most of the Joker's lines for the better. Therefore, I think you'll find, that this Joker was as much Heath's as it was Nolan's. :P
@annie10103 thats fuking bullcrap, i dont give a shit about what nolan did. i am saying heath ledgers joker is as much Heath's as it is the costume designer's genius/ the makeup artist's genius/ the writers genius/the directors genius/ and stanley kubrick's clockwork orange genius. i am not some nolan fanboi, in fact i think nolan is overrated in most cases. i just think actors get too much attention and they dont fking deserve to.
The script was co-written by Chris Nolan, so I think you should give a shit. Plus I used his name as an example as I didn't want to write out a long paragraph of names.

@annie10103 lol ya, and i bet he wrote, lighted, casted, directed, and was the stunt man for the whole film. ya i am pretty sure he did all that too seeing as how he is an actor and not a director, cause really directors are stupid fucking dolls that stand around on set to take credit..... get a fuking hold of yourself, he is an alright actor but god dammit man. and basically he is doing pretty much a remake on Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange pretty much, he is copying alex with a few changes
Oh please. You can shut up about Clockwork Orange anytime, dude. It's getting boring as hell.
Nope, he just acted incredibly, adjusted the script, and created the basic design for the make-up. Until you star in a film, you can shut up and get a damn life.
@annie10103 maybe i should say that you should shut up until you star in a film. secondly, your one of the simple minded summer blockbuster crowd guy, i know for sure now considering you hate a kubrick masterpeice like clockwork orange, but seem to a kiddy comic book movie is better. ok lol, i enjoyed dark knight too, but i dont say outrageous shit like its better than Clockwork Orange. Let me geuss, you think Inception is better than 2001 space oddyseey too? wouldn't surprise me you know.

Let me geuss, you think Inception is better than 2001 space oddyseey too? wouldn't surprise me you know.
No I don't hate Clockwork Orange, I think it's a piece of artwork. But I don't see the need for it to be brought up in every comment when we're on a video that has nothing to do with it.
"Kiddy comic book"?! Oh no you didn't. Batman and the Joker have been around since the 30s you asshole. Decades before Clockwork Orange was even filmed. :P
Dude, Inception sucked major balls. I know it's a Nolan film, but I don't see what was so great about it really.
@annie10103 well at least you dont like inception, which i give you credit for cause inception sucked major balls, and by kiddy i mean pure idioticness of the joker putting 4 rounds into a bank manager, and we see not one drop blood, that kind of kiddy pg13 bullshit is why dark knight and superhero movies piss me off, if a guy gets shot i wanna see blood, cause it takes me out of the expierience if i dont. and by the way the third batman will suk, no way hathaway's catwomen will outdo ledger...
We didn't see any blood when Batman was beating up the Joker in the interrogation scene either. I've come to the conclusion that the producers didn't want to give the film a high rating.
So, yeah. I agree with you on that one. Nolan said he wanted the movie to be realistic. It would have been more realistic if he had actually added some blood.
I agree. I don't think Batman 3 is going to be much good either. I mean, Anne Hathaway? -_-
@annie10103 the producers..... FUCK THE PRODUCERS, nolan should grow a pair of balls and stick up for his artistic vision, what kind of shit is it that a guy gets shot and doesn't bleed. omg a higher rating, scorsese fought bak agressively when they studio wanted to cut a lot of the blood out of taxi driver. it demeans the film.
Too much of everyone else, not enough of Heath! Like, there were a few small scenes of The Joker, but...
I think it would have been way nice if they included bloopers and funny scenes and stuff of Heath as The Joker in the DVD, you know? It would have been like in remembrance of him. It sucks that they didn't.
i no rite? chris nolan said he didnt want to embarress the cast... even tho loads of DVD`s hav had bloopers on theres and the actors and actresses didnt mind! also most of wat chris nolan put in the special features was about the camera! wtf?! they should of only done a bit on the camera and loads of joker and bloopers! >=D
some idiot at the studio i bet made the decision for him not to do any interviews. they probably wanted to keep the joker as secretive as possible. huge shame, they probably regret that decision now.
