I just watched all the bid videos and just based on them, it's not hard to see why Rio was chosen. Tokyo's pitch was BORING and HEARTLESS. You couldn't sell drugs to a crackhead with such a dull video. Madrid's video is plain and unpolished. Their motto is "the games of the people" and the last thing you see in the video is PEOPLE! I mean REAL PEOPLE, not a random black person planted there. And Chicago, well Chicago's was just MESSAGELESS; no theme, just random shots which weren't distinctive.
