I think Jack Jones is superb and I have never understood why he isn't more lauded by the pop music industry. His voice is spectacular. And I love this song. Thank you so much for sharing Jack's version!

Onejagjeff Jack Jones did sound like that in his 30s, you will find the speed is spot on, I have this track on vinyl, and it sounds exactly the same. His voice has got progressively l lower as he has got older. Now he sounds like a bass/baritone. I love his voice best when he was in his fifties, also looks the cutest ...
Nice version and Jack's a great singer, but this is nothing compared to Scott Walker's version, YES look it up its on here. Scott lives this song, plus the arrangment knock spots off any other version !

Weren't Jack Jones and arranger Ralph Carmichael an unbelievable (and underappreciated) pair?! Carmichael was so sensitive and reflective, and Jack performed with such raw emotion for their songs together (Free Again, If You Go Away, Shining Sea, Oh How Much I Love You, When I Look In Your Eyes). Carmichael used to be known as "the arranger you call if you can't get Nelson Riddle," but this view was obviously held by people who hadn't heard his BEAUTIFUL performances with Jack Jones.

Nice version but the best version of "Free Again" is sung by a singer from The Bahamas, Ritchie Delomore! The range of his voice was amazing.
