@UnknownOconnor snow tires, without spikes in any form. They're not allowed in Germany. However, the road is all covered in ice, everything you see that looks like asphalt is asphalt with ice on it.
@AndersLundwall Understand. We had to use tyre chains because the snow over here has virtually frozen and it's 5cm of snow! It hit -18°C here in Ireland.
Yes they use snow tyres, chains only in the mountains.
