  • I went to this school. It was torn down in 1975 or 76. When they tore it down they started on the north end. Went home for the night or maybe the weekend. They had gotten to the same spot as the photos from 1927. It was weird. I have photos of it. People in town were mad as hell. It brought back a lot of sad memory's.The class of 1927 graduated with my class of 1977.50 years late!

  • "Most people would like to force their minds to dismiss events like this-much like the Middle Passage, Jonestown,Houston Mass Murders-so your retelling is invaluable. History is written in blood so we cannot forget."

  • Virginia tech was the worst school SHOOTING,not massacre!

  • He blamed others for his actions. He blamed others for the things he did, for the wrongs of himself. This makes me upset, seeing how more than half of the unfortunate victims of this died before they could even live. And he killed 45 people, 39 of them from ages 7-13... FORTY-FIVE PEOPLE.... over taxes. A video stated his wife was buried under her maiden name. I honestly can't blame her family for that. This story is sickening to me.

  • I am from Bath Michigan and would like to see more of this disaster

  • The Virgina Tech. Killer like Kehoe also blamed others for his killing.

  • Firstly can I thank you for this video, I am currently writing an essay on whether criminals are born or made and this has given a good insight into that, I must admit this was a terrible tragedy and it just goes to show that acts of "terrorism" have been around for years. , Glitcher, have you ever even done anything about criminality, Kehoe was not a psychopath at all, just because someone commits mass murder does not denote them a psychopath.

  • Im a junior in bath highschool and it's so crazy to think this happend to my town that i lived in my whole life.

  • Yeah, I go ro bath High school now sad stuff

  • Gosh.

This is the worst mass murder in history.

His guy is definity a psychpath.

  • You're a dickhead for dismissing Kehoe as a psychopath. When I heard about this story, I totally sympathised with the man. His final statement "Criminals are made, not born" rings true. This is a guy who had his livelihood robbed from him by the very organisation he served. He was a broken man who wanted to get back at the people who mistreated him. You can't blame him for lashing out like that. All you ever see is, "He blew up the school, so he's a psychopath."

  • @Glitcher2000 On one hand I do sympathize with him. On the other hand he lashed out against people in a violent way that was clearly unacceptable. Also he killed people who had absolutely nothing to do with him losing his livelihood. My last point is that that is pretty much the definition of psychopathic behavior.

  • A major book about the Bath disaster is coming out in the middle of April--did you know that? You can place an advance order for it at Amazon.

  • What's it called?

  • BATH DISASTER: AMERICA'S FIRST SCHOOL BOMBING by Arnie Bernstein. You can order it advance from Amazon--it'll be published on 15 April.

  • WORST SCHOOL (MASS MURDER)

  • Good video man, it was very informative.

Despite some innacuricies, it paints a great picture of the events.

  • actually there are some inaccuracies with your inaccuracies. Kehoe in the strictest sense did not use dynamite, but used a type of fertilizer that many "blast" farmers used for getting rid of stumps from fields etc.

  • Pyrotol with limited dynamite actually.

  • If it is inaccurate it is because my source material was inaccurate.

  • EXCELLENT video. See if you can have it televised, or released on DVD.

  • thank you, for it to be televised I would need better sound and editing I think.

  • this story is in weird michigan, its a very cool book, i was so freaked out when i finished reading it

  • Thank you for posting! I agree that people tend for forget and thank you for keeping reminding us...

Note: I believe it was 45 people killed (39 of them were children) and 58 injured.

  • thanks for commenting, I just got a better internet connection, and I hope to hone my ability to make more interesting pieces like this.

  • Cool and thanks! Looking forward to more from you!

  • So,right until the end he was blaming circumstances for how he decided to deal with them.

    Interesting and really well made.
