As seen on the final two seasons of M*A*S*H, Trapper John M.D, The Paper Chase, 9 to 5, The Fall Guy, AfterMASH, Cover Up, Mr. Belvedere, Charlie & Company, The Wizard, L.A. Law, among many others from this period.
And just so anybody knows, this fanfare did NOT end in 1988, it was used with the 1988 fanfare through 1992, while the 1988 fanfare was then used primarily for the 1992 "20TH TELEVISION" logo.
I know In Living Color used this music for its first season (spring/summer 1990) and the first few episodes of the second season. But by the end of 1990 it had switched to the '88 fanfare.

Nope! Only on the first season, because from 1987-1992, it's videotaped.
