@geekomite Camera is a Canon 5D Mark II with 24-70 f/2.8L lens. It's loud because it's a DSLR, not a dedicated video camera, so the mic placement is horrible on this thing. It's slow because I'm recording the video in Live View mode, which hinders the focus performance.
@n33oh oh that is good. I was wondering about sync because the products like airfoil for wifi audio have a delay and I want the audio wifi to be synced with my laptop screen (zero delay). I suppose if there is no delay in the video and audio then you could use the audio from the widi and it would be synced with your laptop screen video-hence this would be a potential solution for me.
does the video quality change. i'm thinking of investing in the widi, but for gaming purposes. will my games have a lag since its sending a signal to the tv from the laptop?
@GPYFOX I forget the model but it's a 58" Panasonic Plasma, the colors are rich and the blacks look pretty black, not as black as Super AMOLED Plus, but blacker than LCD.
Hi very cool video. Are you sure you really have an Intel Core i7-2630QM? Because on the web there are several post saying the 2630QM does not supports WiDi and the 2720QM does. Thank you,

@idontknowlo You cannot WiDi Blu-Ray because it not currently HDCP compliant, You can probably do DVD because I don't think DVD has the same restrictions.
Thanks for the video but dude wtf is with your camera? The auto focus is soooo slow and loud!

Go to properties > behaviour, in there you can tell it to hide the application once the monitor is connected =)

DCUPtoejuice 7 months ago
@DCUPtoejuice Not sure what you mean? That audio is sent from the laptop to the WiDi receiver just fine, no OOS issues (out of sync)

@ingaramo25 Thanks! I don't do it much, but if I do, I'll buy a nice mic, but they run about $300 for a Canon DSLR
