I like the voice of Xcagger's. Few questions: Why would he called you Vrookie? The quote says "We'd like to examine you guys to find out." What exactly do you mean? How are they going to exam the xhaggers? Two different voices.

Unfortunately they don't even have a fraction of the charm the (inexplicably excluded) Zoq-Fot-Pik had.

Then again had the Zoq-Fot-Pik been included they'd just have had recycled lines from SC2.

I liked the campaign aspect. It doesn't have to be Canon though - could have been done better ,that be true. Was a good time to get through.

It's important to remember, that Star Control 3 isn't considered canon by ... anyone, really. So the Precursors just might not be some damn cows. Really, you don't see a way they could have used tools!

Oh, that's a bit trickier...if you don't have the CD, then you can't listen to the voices. You need the CD for that. :(

Alright, if you have the cd and your cd rom drive is drive d, you would have to type something like mount d d:/ -t cdrom -ioctl I believe. That should mount d as your cdrom and let it read the CD.

You have to mount the CD drive (or the folder where you copied the CD, if you did it that way) in DOSbox too, with the tags -t cdrom -ioctl and then it should run okay, I think.

The pure shittiness of the voice acting and writing here sets the tone of the rest of the game. The broken, incomplete, game play devoid, music devoid, quality devoid "game" (really some computer science project that got a publishers approval) it is.

Point taken, but those are like 3 races out of like 20. I also think the K'Tang are funny, but talking to the Arilou (ARGH PERCOLATING HEADS) or the now addicted to cocaine syreen (Talana?! What happened?!), or the now dull human commander (I miss Hayes.) is a chore.

Besides Star Control 2 was just SO awesome, so it was hard to be satisfied with this one.

I like what they did with the Orz, Ur-Quan, Chmmr, and Spathi, and I think the voice actors for the Pkunk, Utwig, and Mycon are fine. I think the puppet for the VUX is pretty okay really, tho the voice is kind of grating to most people. The Arilou and Syreen are total abominations though.
