Thats not just an elbow foul but getting away of the game, so he should loose every fight that he did it something like that (explosive guys always use the elbow foul to reestart the match).

John is a great puller and i do believe arsen will always do well but will not be the star that brzenk is!! I do know that john is stronger just not as fast right now. I don't know why someone hasn't come up with an improved arm wrestling table, example- have the elbow pads cupped around the edges to keep the elbows from sliding off, or at least to minimize the elbow from sliding around and make the elbow padding cover have a grit-gripping effect , and finally ...MAKE ALL 4 LEGS of the table anchor-able to the floor, I understand why some venues don't won't bolts being drilled into the floor, but the table could be weighted down somehow.

Start issues aside Arsen is quite a phenomenal puller and a powerhouse. To beat John here he had to win John's rotator first with his speed, wrist and backpressure and that is something alone. But then he had to beat also John's bicep lock to pin him and that is something else. I think John knows exactly what to do next time and then the outcome is different...unless Arsen becomes stronger than John.
I don't see Liliev being stronger here, faster starts maybe, but with a 50/50 position John would dominate Arsen. This was clearly seen in the second match and the fourth I think...Liliev needs those quick starts otherwise there is no chance of beating him.
i think it was easier for arsen to toproll john since his hand isnt massive. and john couldnt hook arsen in them final 2 matchs cause of arsens power and speed.

Amazing defensive power from John in that position, and without hanging under the table! Who else can do that? The match turned to Arsen by a hair due to his speed at the starts and gaining advanced position. Maybe there could be found more even and equal way to start a match which would eliminate false starts? "Two seconds minimum- rule" between "ready"-(minimum 2 sec)-"go"? Just a thought.
I'm not saying Arsen's starts were false I'm suggesting a way to end speculations .
I agree that there should be a better way to start the matches. If you ask me, the best way would be to ask both participants if they're ready, and after both say yes, a random "GO!" is said at any point within the next couple seconds. That way you couldnt time your start to be nearly in sync with the go as soon as the ref opens his mouth. Thats what ends up happening, because they know the Go comes immediately after the Ready.
@thedarkknight117 I think we are on the same page here but as I see it "ready?" is asked so that if someone is NOT ready one can say it to the judge. That's also why there should be a pause between "ready" and "go". One shouldn't be forced to say anything ("yes") if one is ready especially since there might be great amounts of pressure all ready and one is puffed up and tense/holding breath before the GO.
Yeah thats a great point. There should just be a pause of random length (at least maybe 2 seconds but less than like 4 or 5) between the Ready and the Go.

Arsen's a very one dimensional puller. If he can't flash his opponent then he will lose against the rest of the top guys.
In the 2nd round for example, John catches his hit and within 15 seconds has him to the pad. Even Taras held John's power for longer than that.

Start issues aside Arsen is quite a phenomenal puller and a powerhouse. To beat John here he had to win John's rotator first with his speed, wrist and backpressure and that is something alone. But then he had to beat also John's bicep lock to pin him and that is something else. I think John knows exactly what to do next time and then the outcome is different...unless Arsen becomes stronger than John.

I don't see Liliev being stronger here, faster starts maybe, but with a 50/50 position John would dominate Arsen. This was clearly seen in the second match and the fourth I think...Liliev needs those quick starts otherwise there is no chance of beating him.

Amazing defensive power from John in that position, and without hanging under the table! Who else can do that? The match turned to Arsen by a hair due to his speed at the starts and gaining advanced position. Maybe there could be found more even and equal way to start a match which would eliminate false starts? "Two seconds minimum- rule" between "ready"-(minimum 2 sec)-"go"? Just a thought.
I'm not saying Arsen's starts were false I'm suggesting a way to end speculations .

I agree that there should be a better way to start the matches. If you ask me, the best way would be to ask both participants if they're ready, and after both say yes, a random "GO!" is said at any point within the next couple seconds. That way you couldnt time your start to be nearly in sync with the go as soon as the ref opens his mouth. Thats what ends up happening, because they know the Go comes immediately after the Ready.

@thedarkknight117 I think we are on the same page here but as I see it "ready?" is asked so that if someone is NOT ready one can say it to the judge. That's also why there should be a pause between "ready" and "go". One shouldn't be forced to say anything ("yes") if one is ready especially since there might be great amounts of pressure all ready and one is puffed up and tense/holding breath before the GO.
