This is still a beautiful trailer one year later. I've always loved looking at screens and videos from this game, and the choice of song is perfect.

On a side note, Elika is a refreshing change of pace from the oversexualized female characters that saturate the industry. I think a big part of Elika's appeal for me is the very fact that her "sex appeal" is kept as low-key and subtle as possible. Instead of aiming too "high" and failing (cf. Bayonetta), Ubisoft remembered that less is more.

i finished this game some time ago, and i have to say its absouletly brilliant, and yeah i too was a bit sceptical of the new grahpics, but after playing this, i realised how amazing it actually looked. you only see that when you pan the camrea over the landscape. the HD graphics just take you to another world.

It's impossible to die on every prince of persia game, you always just rewind back to right before you just died. I don't see why thats such a big deal for everyone, if anything this game just cuts out the middle man and respawns you right where you were at.

I'm always up for a good challenge, but I love how simple they made this game. I can understand where people are coming from when they complain about the difficulty (as there is virtually none) but I enjoyed it because of that lack of difficulty. I got to sit back on my couch, and enjoy the ride/watch the scenery.

im a little confused its called prince of persia but iv been playing the game and the only characters of any royalty iv seen is elika and her father..do you later learn of him being a prince further down the story line?

My thoughts: 1) This trailer is incredible -- visually gorgeous and impeccably constructive. It never felt over-done or forced, and there was no sign of developer's hype (e.g. "an incredible action experience" in big letters on the screen). 2) Elika -- from what I understand and have seen so far, neither a damsel in distress, nor a soulless sex object. A breath of fresh air. God bless!

I just dont know how i feel about this game. its with new graphics but it just looks like a Final Fantasy game instead. the prince doesnt look like the prince of persia that i know of. the whole thing looks so different. i love all the prince of persia trilogy but i just dont understand why they wud change the graphics. the whole trilogy look so gud but where is Farah anyway? wudnt the prince be king now coz the father died in the last one against the vizier.

thats a shame. i knew that there were prince of persia before that but i just like how they done the storyline in the trilogy. it showed different elements to the prince like turning into the dark prince and the other one in the second game. but this game is starting to grow on me. its mixed with assassin's creed elements. so wot is up with his hand though?

Yeah, I liked the previous Prince, but his story was pretty much done. As for this one, he has a gauntlet which is the explanation for his some of his acrobatics, like sliding down walls and such.
