I was in grade VI in PGomez elementary School and still remember singing this song to my classmate whose surname is YU, being a chinese mestiza. And she kept smiling with her eyes narrowing as a slit. Thanks for calling back the old memories. I never saw her again after we graduated.

Beautiful and Nostalgic. Washing supper dishes at grandma's house and listening to KDHL or KNUJ radio, we heard this song frequently. It made everyone feel happy. Hmm, I wonder if music like this is what the world needs to help solve its problems?.

i remember this song when i was 5 years old in 1961. This song was hit in the public dance floor, the dance movement is called by ancient konsehal a combination of walrtz and cowboy dance. Its all about 5 decades till my age now I found out who was the singer of this piece, thanks to the one who upload this im very grateflull. can you imagine I know the title but not the singer for 50 years to find out.

This is the song that seesawed with Teddy Randazzo's One More Chance in popularity as song hits during their time (1960, I think). The singer, Carolyn de Zurick, had an equally nice version which she did then on 45 rpm record.

Yodelling, a rarity in music and rare indeed with a so few who can do it. and none can do it better by those in the Alps, in Switzerland. In the Philippines our own Fred Panopio pupularize this musical genre in Pitong Gatang and Markado.
