I live here and it isn't as bad as they convey it to be...yes their is all the gang violence but that is like almost no activity and yes their are not really enough jobs, but their is a town at lest 30 miles to the west, north, and south! :) I love this small little town and I will always call it my home...and I am a kid who has strait A's am a freshman going to college! And I have big plans for my life! The only problem we have is laziness

the guys right, they need more jobs, thoreau is turning ghetto, no jobs, kids turning to gangs, as they turn old, the mindsets they have as kids are still with them. However, Nobody is doing anything, no businesses are started, without business there can be no jobs. I'm Navajo, I've lived in Thoreau, I've seen it turn from peaceful to a shithole. That fascist Obama is gunna make things worse for america! GRR!!!
