i loved dragon age origin and i was sad in man ways about DA2 but i love the graphic and the fighting style and on my alienware with hd radeon 2gb 6950 its freaking awsome!!! i hope they hold on to this in DA3.... change is not bad change is also good, if they kept the gtaphic of DAO people would cry about outdated graphichs!!! i know the story is lame in comparison, but never did they drop the plot and what DA is all about. now i think its the time for real DA in DA3... i love this game

Since Morrigan is more practical and was raised by Flemeth itself, I think they search for power. Flemeth hates the Darkspawn, probably because would make it so difficult for her to rule over Thedas? If Flemeth goes on the run must be because she's in some kind of errand and knows Morrigan's on the move as well. hmm

Maybe that quest about that thing which Flemeth gave you is not about reborn for Flemeth but about rebuild that mirror which Morrigan used in Witch Hunt?

She was sure you go there to complete quest so you meet Merril which want to rebuild that mirror and you do what she want you to do.

Or maybe you think she gave her life in your hands and believe you will be good man and doesn't care you can for example destroy that medalion?

So why she said Morrigan isn't her enemy but isn't her daughter too.

Only explain I can find is she is Morrigan so she can't be mother of herself.

@XxLew Yes I know this is probably what happen here and this is Flemeth we knew from DAO but I'm curious why autors make this Flemeth act, speak and look like Morrigan.

If you played in DAO look at her and tell me: is she similiar to Morrigan beceause of her make up, her eyes which was unique, her feathers on her shoulders, her phrase which she used at first meet you or when she walk before your eyes and turn back to you?

Beceause I see Morrigan here only older and with other voice actor.

She isn't act like Flemeth beceause her acting is like she is young and she isn't look as Morrigan according to her grey hair and dimples.

This is 2 traits which are completly opposite.

BTW it is easier to make yourself old women (you know paint your hair at grey color and use some things to make dimples near you eyes to look older) which Morrigan can do to look like Flemeth than Flemeth act like young women which is hardly believe according to her age.

That's why this is weird.

What are you rendering this on? Compared to my version - this looks kinda bland and washed out. No offense intended. Is this like an XBOX 360? On the PC, when you set the graphics to VERY HIGH using DIRECTX 11 - the graphics are absolutely mind boggling and photo-realistic at times! This version looks kinda like old school graphics. It doesn't do DA2 justice.

But now their facial features are distinctive too. And with the Qunari looking like pale-skinned minotaurs instead of *big* humans, the whole Dragon Age universe seems richer and more magical.

@antemiusenteri Its actually a fairly old trope of evil wizards being revived. The Liches of DnD have a dedicated mechanism to it - Putting their souls in Phylacteries, they simply have a body regenerate/revive every time some adventurer manages to squash em.

I didn't think I'd say this, but I already miss Wyne. She was full of sage advice, she was commpassionate, but she had a playful side, too. It doesn't seem like there's a mentor figure among the new companions. Flemth is like the anti-Wyne, and for all her compliments you know she'd boil you in oil the second it suited her ends.

@lokebrandon Actually, Aveline is the only character I'm certain *won't* be in my squad. Her voice and personality made me drowsy the second she started talking in the demo. The only reason I got to like Wynne was because I played DA: Origins on hard and my group needed a healer; I wouldn't have used her otherwise. Her personality grew on me. Besides, it's okay for an old person with experience to give advice; Aveline looks Hawke's age or younger. She'll just seem annoyingly preachy.

She also has a really tragic ending in relation to her clan that I won't spoil...

There's a difference between immortality and eternal youth! Its how she's lived for so long!

And I think you're forgetting one crucial thing Flemeth is a SHAPESHIFTER and considering the stories of Flemeth changing into a beautiful woman to entice men i'd say she can already make herself look as old or as young as she please so the whole "taking a young body to stay young" theory already loses water. The Amulet is in a way a Horcrux if she used it every time someone killed her she would effectively be immortal.

@lokebrandon It's pretty damning when the robes description specifically states what they're meant to do and Morrigan said she's not looking for immortality but something much more. Thats why she sent her off with the Wardens, you are seriously not doing a good job at arguing your case for Flemeth being innocent. She wanted a child with the soul of an old god. And more than likely the amulet could only be used once and probably takes quite a bit of magic to use. It's not a permanent solution.
