I loved this performance, but the addition to Look Down where they introduced all the characters bugged me. it just felt really....Disney. Anyone know what i mean?
For those of you who think Jonas sucks and is only on there because of his fame, you obviously don't know his past. He started on Broadway by playing Gavroche. He's been associated with the play his whole life. Now, that being said, I still think he was mediocre, at best . Then again, I've never really liked the character of Marius or the people who have played him. And I've seen many people play him. So i guess I'm jaded anyway.
@greenzire05 you fucker nick jonas is amazing plus thats horrible cause he has diabetes so im sorry if he doesnt fill your high standards but i bet you couldnt do anywhere mear as well as that nick jonas is amazing plus in this he is 17 and has diabetes now think and reconsider your comment
@izzy7393 I didn't know diabeties could affect your voice. I think he's pretty much how Hugo wrote Marius. He's young, slightly nieve, and not a strong, powerful voice. When I read the book I could see Marius looking like Nick as well
Gavroche is adorable. Jonas is...better than I expected, but still nothing compared to Michael Ball. He doesn't have any power. Enjolras makes him seem even more pathetic. I don't mean to be a hater for the sake of hating, but, I mean, the kid playing *Gavroche* has more power than Nick Jonas...
I think Nick did good. I didnt really listen to the jonas music but i think its good he tried something else. his voice isn't bad at all. anyone who hates on him has nothing else better to do. I'd like to see some of the naysayers go on stage and do better.
I think Nick did just ok. I love how he tried something new and he's getting away from the Jonas Brothers stuff. IMO they could have had someone better.
@greenzire05 You didn't have to be so rude. Nick Jonas never used autotuned, have you not heard his songs? Not even Nick Jonas & The Administration? He never used autotune, not even when he was with The Jonas Brothers they never used any autotuned. Listen to all the Jonas Brothers songs you'll know what I'm talking about, they don't use autotune. Why use autotune in a musical anyways?

RAMIN!! xD
Wow, Norm Lewis has a fantastic voice! His baritone matches Alfie Boe's tenor very well... Great cast! And Gavroche is adorable. :)
