English voice actors have two problems. First, they sound like theyre reading from a script. A good voice actor doesnt sound like that. Second they sound like they cant hardly believe what theyre saying. It makes the person listening feel embarrassed. Never good.

It seems like in Japanese, voice actors can get this level of awesome out of their lines that people who speak English natively just can't achieve very easily. But with English you get a greater variety of voice inflections and accents. I guess it's just a trade off and people take sides depending on what they like best in how a voice relates to a particular anime.

However, about the Engrish. I think Engrish is either hilarious or legendary so I can't really bash it all that much.
