  • How do you become the guys who design the engine, locks, brakes, transmission, etc at an automotive company such as mercedes?!?!

  • @fcmilsweeper9 Master's degree or Ph.D in mechanical engineering, as well as a long, impressive resume.

  • @Carmaker1

??? Literally one of the very very few reasons to get a PhD in Engineering is for academia. I appreciate the reply, but it was pretty vague...

  • @fcmilsweeper9 That wasn't vague one bit, as I very much implied you have to be the best of the best. It should obvious to someone what credentials they need, especially for a high-end automaker. I just politely answered your question, as no one else cared to for 6 months.

  • mercedes is the best in world

  • It is a Legend

  • Can someone tell me where I can download the video in original-size?

  • What i don't get is why Mercedes paint has orange peel in it. Orange peel is a term used when you look at the paint. The paint itself looks like an oranges skin. It's smooth but it has little ripples.

  • @chrisfball12

This is just a random guess but maybe it's like a golf-ball= increased aerodynamics for better fuel consumption

  • The question I ask is this. Is it a Mercedes engine, or an engine built "by engineers" at Mercedes? How did a Mercedes engine came to be?
