To me, mining is like your kids digging a hole in your living room or punching in the drywall to see what's on the other side. Mining destroys the earth! There is no hidden cure for cancer in this earth and if all your family lives near by you don't need to travel so far, its pretty much the same thing all over the world, some landscapes are prettier than others, but that's it. Recycle as much as possible that helps!
If people were listening to this message, the hits on this would be in the thousands. So Molycorp went public @ 14 dollars it's now at $23. When will the real money chase the stocks of Rare Earth miners? Well it has already. Most stock have moved 50% from the time of this video. One of those stocks has trippled. We waited to long to dig up our REE, so now we will pay.
@anadultmale Very true. Most of us in this country to include myself have been and are still COMPLETELY IGNORANT of this issue. I myself am enlightening myself daily and investing vigorously in other companies before Wall Street and the Bankers catch on.
Keep the Chinese out of the North American Continent from getting supplies that they will use against the US and Canada in the future in future high-technology weaponry and all forms of weapons systems.

This is why i recycle appliances which use rare earths that break down reather then throwing them in the dumps.
