  • I wish you would redo this Tutorial now with the good camera so we can really see what you are doing.

  • Hi! i've just bought vintage heated rollers and I can't understand how to apply them. The first is okay because I can see how to apply it thanking to your video, but... the others?? Is there any method to have those hair like yours in this video? thank you!

  • the eyebrows really pull the look together

  • I recreated this look to go out last night and got lots of "WOW"s. Thanks for an awesome tutorial!

  • plx make a porcelain doll makeup tutorial!! :)

  • please come at my home and do my make up! u're too good!

  • luv your accent...intresting...oh and u r very pretty

  • you are the best makeup person in the world

  • Nice

  • You know what i reckon? I think pixiwoo really popularized vintage hair and makeup as something cool rather then daggy and old fashioned to the YT community.

  • if the water proof liquid eyeliner s so hard to remove, how do you remove yours? :))

  • you can use whatever waterproof MU remover I guess...really it's not very rare.

  • how many rollers total did you use?

  • you have to roll over the other way all the rolls??

  • Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say?

  • Yes, you have to roll all the rollers the same direction. You roll the hair that way because it lifts the roots, if you were to roll underhand, the weight of the roller and the direction of the curl would push the root down flat. That's fine if that's the look you're going for, however with this one you want as much lift and body as you can get.

  • your prego?? congrats :) still beautiful

  • I only wish you had zoomed in for the eyes but I saw all 3 and you did an awesome job!

  • and you are incredibly beautiful. even with no makeup.

  • i very much appreciate your video. it was great to watch and your demeanor is very attractive.

  • Is it just my internet connection or am I missing the end result of the hair? it just turns black...

  • There's a part 2 and 3 as well-wait until the end and they should come up as video suggestions. You can also scroll through all of pixiwoo's videos in the column on the right and you should find it there. It took me a little while to figure that out too!

  • hi what brand of heated rollers are these? ive bought some really rubbish ones in the past from argos! dont want to waste my money again but these ones look very good!

  • those are old fashion rollers a remember my aunt using them when i was like 7 year old.

  • This is such a cool vid! I really dig it, my cousin's 21st birthday is tomorrow so we're goin to some clubs, I'm totally going to try and rock this look - wish me luck! Ps: what colors do you recommend for brown eyed girls? xoxo

  • "my social life's not at its best" :)

    hahhaa

  • Were you using the brush that comes with the liquidlast? I have so much trouble with it, any tips?

  • you're really pretty. (:

  • can you do, a early 1940 look?

  • Have you tried on their website?

  • but what do u do for the hair if your bangs are short?

  • How short? You can make a longer clip in weft.

  • well they're like to my nose or a little below my eyes

  • i wondered that too! i'd do my best to sweep them to the side, or curl them under for a betty paige/rockabilly kind of thing

  • YOUR AMAZING,'and thankyou so much i was trying to do this look myself

  • thats so funny u said abt not going anywhere- i was just wondering after all the work if u went out after....2show it off

  • Hi ! First, congrats on the baby! I am 48 years old and makeup doesn't look so great on me like it used to. I do love MAC makeup and will try some of your looks. Any ideas for a middle-aged woman like myself? Damn, I used to look so hot!!! LOL!

  • does anyone have any idea what a quid is?

  • It means 20 pounds sterling, or $28 depending on the exchange rate :)

  • i quid is 1 pound sterling and a score is 20 pounds sterling lol

  • depends on how its used,

if its like twenty quid it just means pounds

if its a quid it means 1 pound

  • for americans: Quid = bucks.

Just like Americans say "20 bucks" and mean 20 dollars, Brits say "20 quid" and mean 20 pounds

  • wow... I love your voice!! and your tutorial of course ;)

  • I figured out the magic of heated rolls at only 16, makes my hair look beautiful!

  • you are so informative- and precise- i had no idea how to roll my hairbefore this! lol X

  • wow your so attractive i love your blue eyes! i have green/brown eyes, what colour eyeshadow do you think would bring out the color of my eyes???? I envy those eyes with the brown it really does bring them out. I wear brown eyeshadow, but i dont think it brings the colour of my eyes out :( what colour do u think would?? xxxx

  • If you have green/brown eyes. Purples and warm pinky tones will really bring out the colour. x

  • ok thanks so much for replying :) il give it a try thanks so much :) keep up your videos i really like them xx

  • Hi when i put in my heated hair rollers the metal clips(sorry i really don't know what they are called, but they are the same as yours in this video) well the metal things that are supposed to hold in the heated rollers don't hold them in properly it's like they are not the correct size,i bought the heated rollers a couple of years ago so i can't return them, would you know how i can get my rollers to stay in or are there any other clips i can buy to hold them in properly? i live in the UK.

  • i LOVE your tutorials-you are so watchable-xxx

  • I Just have to say, you do hair and make up amazingly!!!! Love all your videos!!!!

Do you have any tips on curling long hair, because my hair is really long and I've tried curling iron and it just doesn't work, I;ve also tried curling it with a normal hair straightners and no success, and as for heated curlers I've tried before but because my hair is so long the curler is just no big enough for it...:(

Many thanks for all your videos!!! They're great!!!

  • You are totally awesome! the best I've seen! Stunning make up!

  • I have trouble with eyeliner as my eyelashes are not in a straignt line. How do I get the curvey shape without making my eyes look mishapen?

  • Sam's vids are sooooooo good...I'm subscribing! I'm also going to explore estee lauder products because of her. Hugs Samantha you're a true artist, you really know what you're doing and so beautifully done in every vid!

  • which mascara did you use for this look?

  • L'Oreal Voluminous in Black.

    I just love that Mascara.

  • My hair is layered and long i think the longest bit is nearly to my waist my hair is thin because it's razored and it's polka straight. Would heated rollers still work or would i need to switch to curling tongs?

    xxx

  • The longer your hair the heavier its going to be. You may find that the curl drops from the longer sections. If you have time you could set you hair on Velco rollers from wet, using setting lotion. This would last the longest but you would need to get a hood to fit your hairdryer and sit with it on you head for about an hour. Defo need a good book.

  • Really helpful, thanx!! If I use regular rollers (that you don't heat), what kind of product should I put on my hair?

p.s. You are very photogenic & pretty!

  • If you use Velcro rollers you it is best to set your hair from wet . Use a setting lotion, you can buy it in most chemists.

  • oh my gosh!

    i love this video!

your accent is so cute! ^_^

this really helped me out! i'm very into the vintage look!

    thanks! ^_^V
