Ahhh yes, the old Countach. I wonder how many times he's replaced the clutch, and how many times the thing required the entire engine to be removed for maintenance since this video was posted. One of my favorite cars, but one of the poorest made "super cars" ever. Today buyers typically avoid this can-of-worms like the plague... but doesn't the Countach just look beautiful regardless of how often it breaks? :)
Having driven a '79 & a '84 countach, most of what i've read about the car hold true. The interior is a tight fit, the clutch is HEAVY, seeing out of the car is hard & so on. BUT both the cars i drove handled incredibly, even better over 80 mph. The 5 speed is addictive, one of the best once warmed up. But what stays with you is the savage acceleration as that 12 sings & screams like nothing else. Lambo 12's feel more ALIVE than Ferrari's.

Ok, you are a bit right...but it is sooo ugly I did'nt watch it that close the first time...it's 2nd to 3rd...tries 2nd again, then to 4th, to 3rd and back to 4th...with hardly any up revs...know that's the LOL

Yea I was inan LP 400 non flare's once,
I pushed the clutch in?
and it was like pushing a weight pedeal in on a universal machine in a gym,
I mean it was smooth and progressive, but heavy.

Valentino Balboni,,,,,, the former development driver always moved the gear lever real light,
just moved it from the back but didnt force it,
He was really relaxed when he was in a countach,
Like it was natural for him,

Maybe he'd shifted so many times over the years the muscles in his right forearm just became huge!
