the second i kinda agree with you.. know the first one.. you can really fuck off and die.. how can you fucken mix a completely 2 different singers? you're fucked dude.
I remember the show in Michigan in 1990 and when he started singing this I thought it was a joke..but then they played the whole song..It was awesome!!
Brings back memories for me. I saw Faith No More at there show in Allentown, PA at the Airport Music Hall. They did this song as well. Patton also hung himnself onstage during The Real Thing. Anyone have footage of the Allentown show?
He co-owns his own record label, Ipecac Recordings collaborates with many bands.. voices on video games, and did the sounds/voices for al the creatures and animals in "I Am Legend".. he's still keeping busy. Check him out fronting Tomahawk, and his other bands, Peeping Tom and Fantomas, he is constantly doing something..
He was the voice in the PS3 game, "The Darkness" as The Darkness, he will do the lead, Nathan in Bionic Commando, and has a cameo in "Portal" coming up. The song "Captain Midnight" at the then end of "The Darkness" is him singing with his band Tomahawk.
I remember reading in their bio that Billy Gould used to get really angry that Mike would not sing in his "normal" voice during this era, but Mike said this was his style for now, and then showed his different style.. his normal voice when Angel Dust came out.
Yeah, I have them.. you can tell how nervous he was. I also read in their "The Real Story" bio that Mike even brought Trevor Dunn along to those auditions, because he was so nervous, and all Trevor did during the audition was laugh at him because he never heard him sing like that... lol...
Well i'll be fucken damned! That was fucken awesome and it was from 'The Real Thing' era. Compared to what they released on that album it seems a bit outta place but fucking brilliant!!! FNM4eva

Mike's hair swingin' days ruled. The Real Thing still remains my favorite FNM album even though it isn't much of a "Patton album".
