Gotta love how he says to imagine your chin on a split rail fence and not to lower your head down, then he takes 3 swings and does exactly what he told you not to do!!!! EVERY decent golfer compresses into the shot on the down swing and if he bothered to look at the video he just showed, he would have seen that.
Intersting, maybe its due to camera angle but ball position looks close to middle of his stance. Even if its partly due to camera angle its still not even close to "off left heel" like alot of tips say to position driver. Also, I need to narrow my stance a bit like his. I have gotten way too wide
@teygrxx the ball is about three inches, maybe four off of his front toe (it's commonly about in that range for pros. not a hard fast rule to have it off the front toe). Also, it's a 3 wood not a driver.
@owenpga1 They learned that way and perfected it, but that is not the proper way to swing. There is a lot of room for error in that type of swing. There is far less error when you keep everything quiet.
Are you really going to hire Stevie Williams? Mistake. Huge mistake. He is full of arrogance and false pride. He is extremely rude to everyone around him except those whom he thinks can benefit him. And he is a backstabber and liar.
@XtremeTactical5 yes, but chances were probably every bit as good that he would have won without Stevie, as well. He was an excellent golfer to have gotten as far as he has prior to Stevie's appearance.
Looking a lot more solid! well done Adam

I was watching Adam Scott at Firestone last week when he won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. He has perfect spine angle. Jason Day does, too.

Strong grip, right palm up towards the sky after impact, absolutely no PA#3. That's the way to swing if you want to be consistent.

I think Mike needs to study a few more swings as most players actually compress in the backswing ( head drops ) and again in the forward swing.

Surely you can do better than this?
