I had this episode recorded on VHS when it first aired cause I had to miss Melrose that week. And I remember I kept going back and replaying this scene with Jo punching Kimberly over and over again. Kim had this coming for a long time. I wish Jo had jumped on her ass and wailed on her some more.

I love how the defenders of this cat fight night time soap opera defend it in that very manner, cat fights. This FM targeted audience and their imprisoned BF's who had to watch it or honey'd make his week a tough one, stunk. A show for people with no lives to live vicariously through this clown show. Tried hard to watch it just to see my Daphne glow, but couldn't take much of this Spelling flavored crud. BTW, "Love Boat" & "Fantasy Island" had high ratings. That didn't make them good shows.

@BENJ1969 at least we agree on Loveboats, that show sucked except that in one eppies they were here in Norway which is really rare for an american tv show.

I also cant stand Dynasty or Dallas and dont get how you can compare those to Melrose Place, MP is a totally different show even if its in the same genre.

I was provoked because you dont seems to accept others opinions, I dont like "2 and a half men" but I dont call the viewers for losers with no life just because I dont like it.

@krismusicfan By the way MP, DALLAS, AND DYNASTY is all the same category. It was just different time periods. 80's and 90's soap have two different flavors. 80's are more dramatics acting, 90's was about sex, and fighting.

@The1Returner Maybe on the paper its the same category but IMHO MP was totally different because it had action and humor in every episodes. And If people respect my opinion then I will stop fighting but not when people like Be1969 are rude to those who dont agree with him. Its childish and pathetic. Dallas and Dynasty to me are much more typicially soaps then MP. MP had awesome one liners. To me MP was about friendship, love and buissnes not just sex. Now todays shows are all about sex.

I absolutely love Daphne Zuniga. She'll always be one of my all time fave FM actresses, for acting reasons and otherwise. I resent that I had to sink to peaking at Melrose Place to see her. I have never liked night time soaps, and think that the target audience speaks for itself. I'll never forget the rabid FM voices at work back when who talked of these show with angered faces and spit coming from their mouths as if it was real life. What losers!

I only have a few things left to say on this topic: Melrose Place was NOT just about "whos banging who" but about various topics, this is a fact not a opinion. Maybe if you had seen more than this clip you would have known this.

And whats crap is a matter of opinion, and there is a reason why Melrose Place is a classic in many peoples eyes. Now I hate the new MP that was made but the original in the 90s rocks!

@BENJ1969 uhm thats rather harsh, you may not like prime time soaps but DZ did some amazing performances on Melrose Place. People talk about them as real people because the actors does such a great job making them come alive. Melrose Place the 3 first seasons were far more than just "another soap", it took up some really important issues like discrimination against blacks and gays,alcoholisme as well as child abuse(which Jo had story in). Season 4 is when it went down the hill....

Melrose was a who's banging who, who's ruining who load of crap, just like the Falcon Crests, Dynasties, Dallas, etc. Never forget 1 rabid soap fan who was ticked her soap recordings were interrupted by "that stupid coverage of the Reagan assassination attempt." That's when I tore into my loser female co-workers and just let them have it!
