Just so people know (as if they didn't already) Yngwie uses both Dimarzio HS3 and YJM pickups, which are stacked humbuckers. Same two coils, but one on top of the other, not side by side.

I do agree that this sounds a little odd to be Yngwie though. Vibrato and harmonics sounds totally wrong, and the soloing is a bit pedestrian by his standards.

you must have a hell lot of an ear to determine if it's a humbucker or single coil pickups, care explain how you know... (still, this is definetly not yngwie)

well, try to hear a strat with a certain distorsion, and any other guitar with humbuckers.... the humbucker sound it's heavyer than the single coil... you can feel the difference on artificial harmonics and also in all the rest of the song

ah okay. i just got another guitar just recently and i tried to figure out what the difference was... my strat single coil isn't as heavy as my ibanez's humbuckers and i can't make it that way. also the artificial (pinch) harmonics are easier to do with the humbuckers whereas in the strat you've got to be more precise

I am pretty sure that this is not Yngwie Malmsteen.There are some rhythm sections might sound somewhat like him, but definitely not the lead guitar. This is not the first video where a neoclassical piece has the name yngwie just to attract viewership. The arpeggios in this piece are definitely not Yngwie.
