  • @uin91 RFI cable chokes. you wrap cords around them in a particular pattern and it helps prevent interference from radio waves

  • if you would please to tell me the size of the threads on the front of the lense reply back thanks

  • You know, you're right, it is a pretty poor review. Well, that's what I thought until I got towards the end when you started explaining the different functions. You seemed to know squat about the camera and then, "Eureka", you did a real nice job towards the end. I am glad I stuck with it.

  • @Bernie1927

Don't bother watching our vids, we are not professionals, you won't enjoy many of them

  • would it be good to film skateboarding?

  • @MRxSKATESALOT

    I think it would

  • @MRxSKATESALOT i have the everio and its decent. check my latest vid for the quality but if your really good you want higher quality and 400 and up is a pricerange

  • It doesn't support external microphones does it?

  • @Napy666

    nope

    sure I guess

  • @mrglow3 no but a dazzle is -_-

  • I have the same camera!

  • could i use this camera as a webcam?

  • @JLisa7 no, doesnt have firewire.

  • Those 2 little grey things are a core filter that reduces interference when connecting to other devices. It goes around the USB cable or AC adapter. See pg. 10 of your manual.

  • Is the quality good even though it is SD?

  • @KOKOCUBED

    I think so

  • i have this camera and love it. Put some extras on it though.

  • can you pouse with that camcorder?

  • What were those dealies for the wires for?

  • @iMartger

still don't know.. all of them have come with two of them though

  • @GearBuyersGuide Core Filters. They cut down on external interference entering the cables, similar to the shield of a shielded wire. Basically they are magnets and they go on a cord somewhere. Normally they are permanently attached to the cord. In the video you say you used SONY camcorders previously. Look at the SONY firewire cord and you will see them on both the camcorder and computer ends of it. The AV out cords for both my POV1's and my LYRA's have them on 1 end only. Check the user guide.

  • @iMartger They were for cable protecters. They open up on the side to put it on the wire.

  • hey is there a AV in port on the camera

  • @kingoftube96

    No just AV out

  • @GearBuyersGuide do you know any good cameras that have an AV in?

  • @kingoftube96 I think you'll need to go beyond the prosumer cameras before you'll find one with an AV in. I still use my SONY Hi8/Digital8 for that reason. Probably one of the last non-pro, AFFORDABLE, cameras with an AV in.

  • @kingoftube96 Found a digital CANON that has AV input. The ELURA 100 has AV in. Run you anywhere between $200 and $600. DV but not HD. Even if you find an HD camera with AV input it's only going to record as analog and not in HD.

  • I don't mean to be mean or anything buts its not pronounced e-v-r-e-o its pronounced e-v-ar-eo

  • @devildude991

no offence taken, I really don't care too much about it..

if they want people to say it one specific way, they shouldn't have used a stupid name

  • @GearBuyersGuide Yeah your right. What happened to it because you got a new blue one earlier in the year. Oh and you should buy the Kodak Zi8

  • wha camera do YOU use, in this video

  • @becca99004

I forgot now.. Prolly the Sanyo xacti

  • @GearBuyersGuide Well what camera do you suggest for a makeup guru that needs pretty good quality and needs the camera to focus on small words (i.e products and stuff like that.)

  • @becca99004

This is a good one for the $250 range.. but I think you might check out the Kodak Zi8 I am hearing good things abouyt it.. it can use rechargable (or regular) AA batteries, has a remote mic input (important) and has a close up mode that is easy to flip in and out of..

IT's not much bigger than a cell phone and costs just under $200

    Prob our next camera

  • @GearBuyersGuide What do you think about the Sony Cyber Shot DSCTX1 because it's HD up to180 but i want full movie resulution like to fill up the whole youtube video screen do you know any like that?

  • I have that same exact camcorder. Same color same everything. The black looks very nice doesn't it?

  • Okay you've sold me on it LOL, I'll just buy a spare battery for it LOL, this thing is too cool! Seems perfect for my uses. But wisdom tells me to look at some other options first.

  • @rooftopeagle

good point, our only thing to compare it to was the Sony, which we didn't like as much. BUt there could be way better ones we haven't seen yet

  • I like this one, wish it used AAs (I know broken record LOL) I'm trying to find a good camcorder style one like this that uses AA batteries.

  • @rooftopeagle

You are on to something with the Flip, plus you can get used Flips all over the place for real cheap

  • can u make a uploading video to youtube because im having problems

  • @MarkieBhoy17

Sure, we plan to do that

  • thanks and its from everio media browser im usin to do it

  • How much did it cost you?

  • Almost $200

  • Where did you get yours?

  • Clearence store

  • 40x? i've got the same one and got 35x

  • what kind of video editing software do you use for this because idk what to use and windows movie maker isnt working

  • Forget the name but I plan to review it, stay tuned

  • what kind of video editing software do you use for this because idk what to use and windows movie maker isnt working

  • The HC under the SD on the side just means it can take SD - HC cards. which means High Capacity. As far as video quality, your owners manual should tell you what Ultra Fine means in actual resolution... When you find out, let us know :) Same question as the other camera - Does it have an external mic plug? Thanks :)
