the worst one i can remember the Patient was circleing the drain and as we were transfering from bed to cot my partner was getting history, Onset was "I dont know I just started my shift 8 hours Ago. yes you read that right the person taking care of him who i can only assume was a CNA/CENA did not make sure to get a report from the last shift nor was she checking on her patient..........the 911 call came from the Family who had been visiting and didnt like what they saw. makes me mad
This is so very dead on. I worked for a private service full time before getting on with the fire dept. Now, I work for a private service part time. People do not believe the crap that goes on.
@Tabooga65 I put every bad experience that I have ever had as an EMT in this video. Luckily I have not run into any of these problems lately. It just seems like in this job you're damed if you do and you're damed if you don't.
@gokuhawks14 yeah, it is damned if you do and damned if you don't but for me one good run where you do something like revive a child who fell in a pool makes all the BS over the last six months seem minor.
